Count me in for those game tags too. MK11 and KI are the two games I'm most motivated to play right now. Still only have it on PS4 and I need to lab a bit more but no amount of lab time is gonna offset my fumbling so mightas well throw hands.

The thing about characters like Mileena sometimes is that they can be a really good excuse to branch out into a playstyle you wouldn't necessarily engage with. Even if it isn't something that you really click with there are always lessons you can bring back and apply to the playstyle/character you are more comfortable with. For example I learned a lot more about the up close game in SFV playing Laura than I ever would with anyone else I would have picked, and those lessons were really helpful with Poison.
 
So maybe it is less about playing Milenna how you want and more about embracing your inner gorilla and living that life for a bit.

I think Spawn is an easier fit because of his origins (comic books) and the fact that the mythology of them is so wacky-dacky that sure, why the hell not put him in MK? Dude has been a guest char in 2 different FGs so far and its made perfect sense both times, mostly because "portals and hell magick" gives you a lot of wiggle room.
 
Terminator, Robocop, and Rambo are a lot adorably dumber because they exist in versions of our real world that aren't overly fantastic except for some near future stuff in the case of Robocop and Terminator. Also I think them being realized in movie form first and foremost makes it a little extra weird for reasons I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe because its more about the performances and the movies that surround them as a whole, so divorcing that to make them have death battles with ninjas and wizards is a little extra bizarre? I dunno.
 
Regardless of how anyone feels about it the stunt casting has seemingly been wildly effective for NRS, and you're seeing other companies dip into that where they can just to try to catch a little bit of that cross-promo lightning in a bottle. But NRS hit on the secret sauce: weaponizing the nostalgia of 30-40 year old men. Always good for a quick buck.

Picked up Hades this weekend, and I gotta say, this is the first rouge-lite I've ever enjoyed. 
 
Supergiant games really have their one style on lock, huh? This game plays exactly how I remember bastion playing, and looks like every other game they've made. But I ain't complaining. 

That game was what everyone wanted in a sotn clone just from looks alone lol.
 
Speaking of wants.   It would be nice before I die,  for us to get the Yoshinari brothers back together to work on a new Valkyrie Profile. 
 
I could go on all day about old ip's I want to see return like Breath of Fire or the Shining series.   But seriously that Lodoss game is a such a nostalgia bomb.    That's what really got me into dnd and anime honestly.    Like I loved cartoons and what have you but I didn't really go out of my way to look for anime until that.   All thanks to my local anime club being a bunch of nerds and grabbing me from the Time Out arcade

My hope is that KP2 has more chars coming and they just didn't want to tip their hand. Cold dropping more chars outta nowhere is always a fun move.

That phrasing makes me think of Heihachi and Kazuya dressed up like 80s era Rob Halford, heading into a bar called "The Tool Box". 

I'd like to say that Capcom knows better but it's probably just that they couldn't be arsed to do it.

Thanks for the help guys. Looks like vsync off is the only option for having it run well but I don't have a display that can compensate, which means I either have a version of SF5 that looks worse than PS4 or runs dramatically worse than PS4.

That's interesting. I’ll look into that. I haven’t used Fan-Nado much because, well, I preferred the regular lift as Fan-Nado couldn't combo off of one of her more common strings (though i cant remember which one). I also never used Halfblood much, because i hated sacrificing Lift for Razors, and while it was always a counter-pick, i also hated how you had to use the same skin, which is fixed now.
 
I was playing around with her yesterday, and that nerf to up-fans really took my hype out of her custom variations, but man, replacing the Flutter in Fan-Fare with Low Fan is nice. Gives you a better meterless projectile, and a safe (when metered), close mix-up option. Plus that buff to royal protection is great. I made a second variation with Halfblood Stance and Ground War to counter strict zoners that i cant use Royal Protection against.
 
I really like Mileena but i am struggling with her hard. She has some stubby buttons and I’m dying anywhere between max-screen range and right up on their tits. She definitely has tools to play footsies with and force her way in, but it seems to take a lot of work and conditioning, and even then, your one-hit confirms have to be on point. Kitana and Mileena aren’t really all that different. I think Kitana has better neutral/footsies though and that’s better for me. Mileena is a bit more rush-down and YOLO orientated, which is getting me killed. She’s fun as shit though.

Did I miss something? I keep seeing people bring up new critical arts.
