Ohhhh yeah that "Portal" contraption looks like the latest hilarious disaster to be the laughing stock of the industry...like this is Stadia-level foolishness right there.  $200 for that, bruh? This is comedy gold right here, folks.  I look forward to seeing what happens there.  I want to see it crash and burn as hard as possible.

Meanwhile; I continue to enjoy my Vita once again... along with my Switch and Steam Deck... y'know... real portable gaming.

whoah I forgot that Terry Funk was even still around, actually... then again I haven't cared to watch wrestling in years.  I mostly remember him for the ongoing feuds he had with the legendary Nature Boy himself, Ric Flair back in the WCW days.  Also, I think he was a character in the Patrick Swayze classic Road House as well.

One upgrade we could get out of the upcoming election is finally getting back to it being someone who isn't old enough to have known Cain and Abel personally.
2024 is taking too damn long, man; I'd like to jump into a time machine to see what's going to happen sooner rather than later.

On another note entirely; I still have Passions and Port Charles up on other tabs for the past few days now... up to episode 7 of Passions.  Youtube is just too strong... those are 2 of the 6 tabs I currently have open, btw.  There's another on that "Taken" series and another tab about Mindflayer/Illithid lore.

What's the point of this if it can't play anything locally and is just a brick if you don't have a decent wifi connection?

I've used Remote Play A LOT, and the only way I got acceptable experience is with both my console and my phone on wired fiber connections. Guess we'll see if this PS Link thing has the good or not but I'm skeptical.

I recall Zack saying that there were games in the works for that movie as well, I think....seems like the goal is for that new IP to be the next big thing that has it all going on.  I'd have to watch that segment again to be sure though.

Finally, this was shown off a little while ago... I've been looking forward to The Last Faith since it was announced:

sheeeit, I went Ultra Instinct today at the gym place; 54 minutes in that "red zone". (1 hour class session)  Calorie burn was nearly 1,200 this time.

*Today's movie acquisition--- I saw Nightbreed on 4k at Best Buy!!  Of course I had to snatch that up immediately.  It was 32.99.

A ranking of horror icons I was just watching...
The top ranks that immediately pop up in my mind are always Pinhead, Jason, and Freddy Kruegar; the popular unholy trinity there (with Pennywise being extremely close to top rank as well).......even though I'd agree that most of the Hellraiser franchise is terribly disappointing...and that other dude who played him in one of the later films just looked silly.  It's fortunate that the recent reboot effectively rescued that franchise.
It surprises me he ranked "Billy" from Black Christmas that high... for being an old "classic" I was barely able to get through that movie, and of course he doesn't have any supernatural powers so naturally that's not helping his case against the rest of the competition out there, imo.

haha public school not safe anymore?  It's been trash for a long time...at least back to when my generation were growing up.  It seems like Gen-X was the starting point of the great downfall of American society, imo....as a kid there seemed to be a clear difference between the much older kids and my gen at the time.  My peers seemed like pure worthless, disrespectful garbage in comparison.

I remembered just now the first time I heard a kid in my class curse at a teacher....it was actually elementary school; I think 3rd grade, if I recall... that dude was basically your typical shitty kid that probably ended up being a criminal later in life....just like most of my "peers" (embarrassing to even use that term, tbh).  I notice how it would just continue to get worse as the years went on....and my particular peer/class group would just get increasingly disrespectful, trashy and generally worthless.  I also don't really agree with it always being the parent's fault either... sometimes kids are just shitty people at their very core.... like they were born and destined to be that way regardless of any positive outside factors that one would assume could make a difference.  I don't think that's something most people want to admit or think about though.

*edit--I realize though that the older kids are technically part of the same generation... but they were so different from my specific peer/class group it seemed like they were just of a different generation entirely, imo.  Even more of depressing was how the kids that were younger than us were even worse....each new class/generation following X has seemingly become progressively worse in nearly every point of comparison.
