I appreciate Warhammer memes, but have you seen the prices on Warhammer shit lately?  $195 for one model, they can fuck right off with that.

Jfc, my son goes into histrionics if we don't give him his daily fucking dose of Paw Patrol clips on YouTube. And that's like 10 minutes of show clips before it turns into weird ass homemade videos of adults acting out Paw Patrol fanfic with the toys.

My wife got up early with the baby and put on a movie from Disney+ in the living room.  I swear to god I thought she was watching Star Wars because I heard Darth Vader. I got up thinking, "hell yeah, gonna watch some Star Wars with the fam!"

Turns out it was actually Mufasa 😒

Installing a pull up bar has been my most genius idea for working out. Especially since I ended up tearing my meniscus and have surgery sat. Gonna probably be a while before I can work legs decently.

The ol' Irish Goodbye.  My wife and I joke about it at least once a month, and neither of us even smoke.

I had to get my son CoVid tested about 3 weeks ago.  They had a drive-up testing set-up where the nurse in full PPE just came up to the car door where his carseat is.  He didn't love getting the nasal swab, but it was over quick and he enjoyed the lollipop they gave him.  Results back in 48 hours.

Negative test (and he was sneezing a lot so I wasn't even particularly suspicious that it was CoVid anyway).

Nobody ever calls Phantom Miria, who could find some way to make Stalin murdering millions sound like a good thing, a troll. I don't agree with everything AlexTheKing says, but it's hilariously ironic that the only people y'all call trolls in that thread are the people you disagree with.

    Anyway.

Did a lot of snorkeling yesterday and since it was raining today just did a bit of sight seeing, chilling, and getting some good happy hour drinks/food. This one spot has the best bushwhackers and coconut shrimp with a jalapeno marmalade sauce it's unreal.

Yeah, what's your point? Squirrel girl's body count is crazy impressive.

Also, remember when I said electromagnetism is the 2nd strongest fundamental force? The strongest is squirrels. So really it would be stranger if she didn't win.

I mean, telekinesis could do that too, just doesn't need a few iron atoms to explain how it works.

True, but I’m actually staying with comic reality where his power basically just gives him infinite energy to utilize.

It mostly depends on the author and tone of the story. He can vary wildly from nigh omnipotent to magnet man. Usually based on how seriously the author wants to take control over a fundamental force.

And magnet man is always who I kill first in MegaMan 3, so that’s pretty weak.

But yeah, comic powers are wildly inconsistent basically at all times.

Look, I'd be reluctant to invoke reality too much here.  If you want to say he can do anything you can conceive of the actual electromagnetic force doing, then you can look at the joules necessary to exert that force, convert that number of joules into moles of ATP that would have to be biochemically available in whatever tissue he actually performs his manipulation with (his brain?), and see that for physiological limitations at best he'd be able to magnetically fling metal about as far as he could throw it with his arm.

Exerting enough energy to lift a car would probably kill him.

Or we could look at it in terms of comic book reality, where every power is basically magic because it'll do whatever the author wants it to do in that moment.  And because the author whims are reality there, Magneto has to own his loss to Squirrel Girl so how good could his powers actually be?
