I always enjoyed the caged heat of the politics threads. Best place to sharpen ideas is where you can argue them with people looking to stick around and have a conversation.

Being called a communist by a Mexican pretending to be white is one of the highs and lows of my internet "career".

My homemade pizza has finally reached a stage I can be proud of. It's not ever matching my two favorite places here, but I like it better than most of the chain places.
And to think I started here:

Might also want to inspect every stripper.
Just saying.

I never have any idea what to say at funerals. All my best stories about people usually involve them in some sort of context the other people at the funeral aren't necessarily going to appreciate.
My own mother, we didn't have a funeral for. But here's the story I wouldn't have been able to share.
So one year when I was a kid my big Christmas request was to get the 4 player adapter for my NES, because I already had a couple of games that would work with it and often had a bunch of friends over at the same time. And my mom, not being a technologically inclined sort, didn't fully understand what I was asking for and went into the local Toys-R-Us asking the clerks for foreplay.
That's it. That's the story.

They were alright. Decent chain option, but there are almost always better local places around.
They were one of my little brother's first jobs though, so I had a minor sentimental attachment.

If I'm remembering who that was, he has serious health issues with his eyes that he's discussed publicly before. It might be worthwhile to reach out to him directly and ask what changes would be helpful (even if you have to do it over on SRK).

Alright...think I have this eulogy locked down.
No dry eyes allowed at the funeral home.
Only problem is the speaking order.

I've seen that building, yeah.
It's down by the Strip District, which is all little shops and produce stands and restaurants, awesome place to shop but super close quarters and really shitty for social distancing. You can actually fire up Google Street View for 33rd and Penn Ave, and head down Penn a bit to see Hulk and a version of Wolverine:

They are kinda meh.
Burgers aren't bad per say, but it's the same restaurant burger you get elsewhere, and nothing really stands out.
So many other places offer the same food for then same or less price for the quality and they got something to set them apart.
