I never have any idea what to say at funerals.  All my best stories about people usually involve them in some sort of context the other people at the funeral aren't necessarily going to appreciate.
 
My own mother, we didn't have a funeral for.  But here's the story I wouldn't have been able to share.
 
So one year when I was a kid my big Christmas request was to get the 4 player adapter for my NES, because I already had a couple of games that would work with it and often had a bunch of friends over at the same time.  And my mom, not being a technologically inclined sort, didn't fully understand what I was asking for and went into the local Toys-R-Us asking the clerks for foreplay.
 
That's it.  That's the story.

If I'm remembering who that was, he has serious health issues with his eyes that he's discussed publicly before.  It might be worthwhile to reach out to him directly and ask what changes would be helpful  (even if you have to do it over on SRK).

They are kinda meh.
Burgers aren't bad per say, but it's the same restaurant burger you get elsewhere, and nothing really stands out. 
 
So many other places offer the same food for then same or less price for the quality and they got something to set them apart. 

They were alright.  Decent chain option, but there are almost always better local places around.  
 
They were one of my little brother's first jobs though, so I had a minor sentimental attachment.

Ah, yeah not much you can really do then.
 
You might hit up a hardware store and get some of those winterizing kits with the plastic heat shrink to go over your windows.  That might help or hurt with it being too warm at night though, depending on the AC situation.

We have a swamp cooler. Central air is sort of a fancy thing to have in El Paso.
 
May have to hit up the landlord and asked for the house to be switched to heating. The catch there is that when we do that, El Paso goes through its weird Autumn heatwave. Real life nature mix ups in this city.

I live in a super old apartment with shitty windows, these are god sends.

Yeah, for the most part. I'm just belly aching. 
 My sister in law is coming to visit tomorrow with our 5 year old nephew. Normally, I wouldn't mind this, but my birthday is tomorrow. So instead of sitting in my underwear, drinking beer, playing video games, and seeing a friend or two like I would like to for my birthday weekend, I'm going to be chauffeuring them around the city and entertaining. 
 
And my wife got me a new hitbox case as a gift, but it hasn't shipped. She ordered it 2 weeks ago, and I keep telling her that she needs to email them cause the order snuck past them, but she has so much anxiety about it that she's not going to do it. And she won't let me email them cause it would "ruin the surprise" 😑
 
I just wanna get drunk and build a new hitbox 😭
 
 

We just dropped $11k getting a new furnace and central air.  Finally put that stimulus money to good use.

finally saw the season finale of Raised by Wolves... this show continues to be my top rank new thing, man... I love everything about it.  It was a relief that a certain thing was revealed at the end; it's best to be as vague as possible about that situation since I wouldn't want anyone to be spoiled on this incredible show.  Throughout the whole season this story was fairly unpredictable in the best possible way.
 
If you like sci-fi at all you must behold the greatness of this show

Now I just need to find time to finish season 4 of The Good Place. Show is hella good and Kristen Bell is way too pretty.

My new fun game is trying to figure out who was who under a different user name on SRK.

Look that dude likely got me banned from the FB MvC2 group (which I was going to have to quit because of him). If you want screenshots showing that:
 
1) He sent the first PM.
2) He would continuen the convo after days of me not replying.
3) He said what I characterized as best I could and,
4) I didn't initiate the convo on the night he sent me that foul stuff,
 
 
I have them. I seriously just want tk be left alone. If I have to quit this place too, I'll quit it. That dudr loves putting on airs and doesnt ever act like he fucked up.
 
I made the mistake of contacting him back in February/March. I wanted to ask him some MvC2 stuff. Figured it would just be a way of reconnecting after all the election thread drama. I was over it, still over it, he isnt. The convo quickly turned about that too.
 
I dont think the guy is all there. He just wants SRK. He can have it all. I dont trust that level of crazy.
