  1. Lately I wondered why game developers have reduced interviews with game journalists over the years and have instead focused on their own marketing. I don't wonder about that anymore.

She's not a journalist but a hack rather.

I consider her more of a clickbait artist. I skimmed through her list of thrilling, insightful articles that include "Ranking Fortnite's Lobby Tracks From Worst To Best" and "Our Favorite Video Game Weapons Of All Time". She probably stirs the pot to prove she is not a computer AI.

For someone concerned about jiggle physics, she also wrote the article "Hades II Is The Kind Of Hot We Need Right Now."

He HAS to be playing to the crowd at this point, right? This is intentional, right? There's no way you're this ass and making up excuses for this long just on your own. His audience probably doesn't even want him to get good anymore.

It is crazy how this guy hasn't changed one bit and yaps about the same stuff, saying the same things since SF4. Based on the clips I have seen his audience usually donates before he even starts playing, so I assume they don't care.

A pro-Palestinian protester demanding a ceasefire resolution found herself in some hot water after threatening the lives of city council members in Bakersfield, CA.

Riddhi Patel, who is the Economic Development Coordinator for the Center for Race, Poverty and the Environment in Delano, CA, began to address the council members cordially enough before her speech went rapidly downhill.

There is so many buzzwords in these bios, it is giving me a headache. Patel's bio includes "She prioritizes highlighting the intersectionality that comes with the environmental justice movement to achieve collective liberation for all oppressed communities."

  4. There is a new scam going on about fake law firms created from AI generated info and images, from websites to lawyer biographies. They send DMCA claims that threaten to sue unless you pay immediately.

Chief among them is that Commonwealth Legal, a firm theoretically based in Arizona (which is not a commonwealth), almost certainly does not exist. Despite the 2018 copyright displayed on the site, the firm's website domain was seemingly registered on March 1, 2024, with a Canadian IP location. The address on the firm's site leads to a location that, to say the least, does not match the "fourth floor" indicated on the website.

  5. Bankman-Fried will most likely serve around 12 years based on good behavior credit.

There is no parole in federal cases, but Bankman-Fried may still be able to shave years off his term.

“SBF may serve as little as 12.5 years, if he gets all of the jailhouse credit available to him,” Mitchell Epner, a former federal prosecutor, told CNN.

Federal prisoners generally can earn up to 54 days of time credit a year for good behavior, which could result in an approximately 15% reduction. Since 2018, however, nonviolent federal inmates can reduce their sentence by as much as 50% under prison reform legislation known as the First Step Act.

He was also ordered to forfeit 11 BILLION dollars, including all available assets. So even if he gets out early, he will have financial obligations.

The lawsuit with Bankman-Fried’s parents to surrender their money and assets is still ongoing.

In November, singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura filed a lawsuit against Combs, her former boyfriend, in federal court in New York’s Southern District. The suit alleged alleged Combs raped her, forced her to engage in sex trafficking and subjected her to years of other abuses. The two parties settled the suit days later.

A week later, Joi Dickerson-Neal filed a suit in New York accusing Combs of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 1991. She also alleged she was a victim of “revenge porn” by the music artist.

In December, an anonymous woman referred to as Jane Doe filed a federal lawsuit accusing Combs of sex trafficking and gang rape in 2003, when she was 17.

Further, one of Combs’ former employees, producer and videographer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, filed a lawsuit last month accusing Combs of sexual assault and leading a “widespread and dangerous criminal sex trafficking organization,” among other allegations. The suit was filed in federal court in New York’s southern district.

Additionally, in an amended complaint on March 12, initially filed in New York in November, Liza Gardner accused Combs and singer Aaron Hall of battery and sexual assault in 1990, when she was 16 years old.
