Lol what? Cammy lands normal and sends you halfway to the corner and 3/4 of the way to the corner if you backrise. She can react to your wake up and get no effort meaty too. What she does is basically imposible to nerf unless you want to send the character to the shadow realm.
 
That's why her "nerfs" were more like adjustments than anything else. You go after some of stuff that makes her strong and nerf it, you end up making her way wack as a character. But c'mon guy, "ain't even that good". She's literally never been bad. The funniest one was when they did the cr.lp nerf and the cr.mp nerf (this one went from +2 on block to +1), and people were like "ZOMG CAMMY IS DEAD WTF CAPCOM" and now she is carrying players.

Which is why nobody should be worried about basic ass Cammy lol. Character is like bottom 10 in terms of foolishness.

Cammy looking that good just means that they did a good job getting rid of a lot of the obviously stupid shit a few of the worst offenders had.

Lol this is what I’m saying. What is Cammy carrying me with...good buttons? Basic meaties? If Cammy is carrying someone characters like Laura or Urien are carrying mfs from the womb to adulthood.
 
I don’t understand the playerbase of this game sometimes.The same people whining about one of the most basic characters in the game will stay silent when a character like Ibuki comes through and deletes an entire life bar in 2 guesses.

Cammy is not a carry character because Cammy rewards and develops fundamentals. If you got strong footsies, you're gonna have a strong Cammy. Carry characters are VT Unga Bunga characters that can just overturn whole matches with Gorilla Tactics like Urine has been doing since SF3.
 
People saying this are just complete imbeciles. I have no sweeter words than that.
 
Doctrine can back me up on this. Matter of fact, as  Sonero said, she's been doing the same shit since S1. Therefore, our resident SFV Guide Writer, Cipher, can confirm that as well.

I’ve just seen a few posts on Twitter saying that Cammy is carrying a lot of players. 
 
Anyone agree with this?
 
Cammy seems to be top 1 in a lot of people’s tier lists, but she’s also so straightforward. Maybe I just suck, but I don’t see anything too abusable with her. Yeah, her pokes and whiff punish game are pretty good, as is VT1, but is she really getting away with murder out there? In these low ranks I’m in, I have a lot harder time dealing with more random/gimmicky characters than Cammy 
 
edit: though I guess I can see that a high level with a smart player with solid fundamentals, that she may be really hard to deal with/beat.
 
edit 2: this came about because some random esport team released this statement, but I’ve seen a lot of people turn around and make (jokingly) statements like this but about Cammy, and some people (some of whom are decent players) in the comments seem to agree with it sincerely

Also we were eating lunch today at work and one of my bosses was talking about interviewees. She said she hired me because “I walked in like I owned the place” and told one of the guys to help me on there new hire test lol. 
 
We also took shots of tequila today. It’s a pretty cool place so far.

If we are going to accuse Cammy of carrying people then fine I can see it. However there is like a dozen characters at least that are enabling bad players way more than she is lol.
