Saw this little comic show up in my feed and thought it was funny but was not prepared that it was actually based off an actual video lol
People are wild AF.  I've seen enough about monkey's ripping the face off of people that I def ain't gonna try to give one hands.

The double edged sword of working for a local/small business is that you're constantly walking on a tight rope of being employed or not. If the store isn't making the money they need to afford you than they can't afford you. I was just let go tonight because of said reason. 
 
The owners weren't really paying attention and have been hemorrhaging money. While that sounds like an excuse from them it's really not. They've both have had really busy year. Which is about how long I've been here. One just had a kid. The other is expecting a kid. The one who's expecting got a new day job that keeps him very busy. So they've had higher priorities. 
 
Doesn't make it suck less though. I have no ill will towards them. It is what it is. I've worked for small businesses almost my entire life. I've seen tons of them open and close over the years. They're not closing or anything thankfully but it sucks I'll know longer be able to be apart of their growth. Though they did say once they get the store back on track they'll hire me back. So that's very nice of them. Still, doesn't make it suck any less. 
 
Really sucks being an unemployed 37 year old. Thankfully between my disability check and my girlfriends work/child support checks I'm not going to be struggling for money or be stressed about bills. It's still a really shitty feeling and I feel really defeated as I did do my best to make the store grow. 
 
I think I'm just gunna take a mental health break from working. Spend some genuine quality time with the gf and her kid, try to put a dent in my video game backlog and just get my head on right.

I probably would be too scared to hit even if I found her attractive. Plus, with a similar DNA there would be some sort of congenital defect or rare disease that appear in the child.

Ngl I would go electric for my next vehicle if I had a reliable way to charge it. While I hate the weight and lack of sound I like the idea of there being a lot more freedom to use space because you don’t have an engine or transmission up front. I like fast cars and one thing I absolutely hate is how every front engine car with more than 5 cylinders needs a mile long hood to hold the engine. I hoping with the skateboard style platforms everyone is using we can get more smaller cars with high HP. 
 
Also as someone who does most of the repairs and maintenance on their own car I’m super looking forward to not having to do oil changes or constantly check on brakes. 

We have a hybrid. Honda CRV. Great mileage and the power delivery is far more responsive than the gas one. It's loud as shit, especially in reverse like yours. Sounds like one long Tinkerbell fart. Great fuel economy though, for a family vehicle doing an hour of commute on a daily basis, minimum.
 
I'm still attached to the idea of getting a GR86, and it'll be a little sad if I get a hybrid, but that's probably where I'll go. Can't afford electric, but I'll need to make smart choices.

There were apparently some Veyrons cruising around the Twin Cities two days ago. Unfortunately they didn’t come anywhere near us, so I didn’t see them or hear them. Pretty funny though that no matter where I go, from Pakistan to America, there will always be Veyrons visiting my city.

I always only had one piece of entertainment per year. One toy purchase a year, one console a year. Every time I'd get something new, I'd have to donate the old thing. That meant that after I got my PS3, I couldn't get anything new besides games every few months. Same went for my PS4. It's only now that I bought myself a PS5, a Switch and a PC. I buy pretty much all of my stuff now, so I can budget accordingly. Things are better than they were, so I'm grateful.

Just got a hybrid car. It is indeed better on gas then my previous vehicle. Although with my commute that is only a slight difference. Surprised by how much noise makes though.

i have the tombow brush pen soft tip. its not really a brush pen since it has a plastic tip instead of a brush but it flexes like a brush tip pen. just not as good.
i have real brush pens tho but theyre hella hard to draw with. or write with. requires alotta precision control.

What a loser. I like my rocket flying in my pocket! Wait, are we still discussing pens?
 
Been using brush pens for years. Very good. As I type this, I am taking a break from practicing Katakana using a brush pen. Love it.

Yeah...I''m sure going south of the border and blowing up/shooting up places without consent from Mexico will smooth over really well.   I get drug cartels are an issue but that's definitely going to be a big political shitshow if you did that.  Shooting them while they're over here is all fine and dandy but going over there despite us being better are rooting out the problem is going to a huge issue.
