DI hate is so fucking cringe. Imagine being this mad that a universal tool that puts you in a shit situation if you are careless with it might give you  a tool to fight fucking Guile. Fireball spam in 6 is better than in 5 and people are acting like DI spells the end of the world for zoning. Even at high Silver/Gold DI spam was nowhere near as bad as some of these people are making it out to be. Wait until the game fucking comes out before people start writing dooms days manifestos.

Truer words have never been spoken. Also remember, that you gotta learn and respect the car. Doing dumb stuff on day 1 gets increases the chance of getting it totaled on day 5. 
 
 
 
Exactly. I've had a few questionable moments with my Charger because I was young and dumb at the time. Of course "spirited" driving on occasion is one thing, but don't be a jackass on a crowded street.
 
Did the brakes on my Durango the other day. First time I really got a good look at the truck since I've owned it. The one thing that got my attention were the exhaust manifolds
 

 
Now on the 5.7L HEMI, they are tiny. I was surprised to find that the heat shield was gone but also one of the rear bolt heads are missing. Looks like some years back, someone attempted a repair and didn't get it in all the way. I suspected that I had some sort of exhaust issue. In the AM I was getting a "ticking" noise briefly but would close up after a few seconds and came from the passenger side. I would be shocked if there is a gasket there. 
 
Headers will possibly be on deck if I decide to fix it. There is no MIL and no (noticeable) loss in performance.

I meant to go fast to pass someone but truthfully I didn’t intend to go as quick as I was. Gave it some gas around 80 and looked down 10 seconds later I was well into triple digits. Was cool and kinda scary at the same time.

Coming from beaters and economy cars holy shit it’s fast. Passing 99.9% of cars on the highway is child’s play.

Early SFV was like this too. I remember people calling the game Jab Fighter 5 during the beta.

He was the one doing the jabbing.  Pretty sure he was pissed that jab spam was the only thing that was working for him to survive the pressure game, for whatever that's worth.

Closing thoughts: The Drive System is EXTREMELY important for every character... except Guile. He plays really weird with it, so to speak. He is all around good without the Drive System (unlike some characters) but he somehow suffers from IV's Focus Attack Syndrome AND benefits from V-esque V System shenanigans. It's... odd.
As for my main, Ryu, you have to be on point with the meter management to win. You also have to abuse certain normals (F+HP, cr.MK, and F+HK) to get far. Making him harder to use than Guile and feel somewhat sluggish.

Beats: Ken, Jamie, Luke (although, barely saw him)
 
Neutral: Chun-Li, Guile (unless you try to get in a fireball war), Ryu (of course)
 
Loses:  Kimberly, Juri
Final thoughts:
 
1. I really, REALLY, liked the feel once I started proactively using the Drive System. This game, more so than V or III, WANTS you to be aggressive.
 
2. Kimberly or Guile is the best of the beta cast. Jamie is the worst.

My Kimberly is fucking dog shit trash but god damn I love this game. I’m gonna look like an unwashed crack head the day I have to go to work the weekend this launch’s lmao
