Weird question, I don't see why that aspect of the franchise would change. Street Fighter's problem since V hasn't been claims of being inaccessible, it's being a flawed package.  Online that just isn't up to par, inconsistent model quality, things like that are what drive people away from SF now. V already eliminated the biggest barrier SF was associated with by adding large buffers for inputs/making links fairly trivial
 
If Capcom has any sense they'll focus on what the franchise's most cited weaknesses are and work on strong netcode and high quality aesthetics. Their main competitor, Arcsys, only focuses on accessibility so much because they had a legacy of making hard to play games that they're trying to shake imo

I very much doubt this game will take anything away from project L. PL drops in 2023 most likely, by then this game will have already peaked in popularity and all that will be left is whoever really really loves it. This game will probably actually sell people who had doubts on whether "easy input" type games could give them the kind of depth they get elsewhere, prepping them to embrace PL if anything.

After xrd changed the game on how fgs look, companies reached out to arcsys to have that style but the games themselves play nothing like other arcsys games. What makes more sense to you, that arcsys does these games with styles radically different from their own games just...because? That they balance them on totally different schedules for no reason (dbfz being annual balance after a while and granblue having balance like a month after every patch)?

im actually really hype for this beta, its been a while since a game has come out and we're totally blind to how it works on nearly every level lol

She does demand elbow grease relative to the rest of the cast but I'm a strong believer that you should always play who you like the most

Invited over a friend who also knew nothing about Strive to play some games together and had a blast. I tried most of the cast, and had the most success playing like a total asshole with May and Axel, but also enjoyed Ram a good deal. I think I had the most fun trying to figure out Jack-o, but I kind of feel like pursuing that as my first Guilty Gear character might be ill advised.

KI is really hard to beat as far as netcode goes because it was designed with rollback in mind. The way inputs are buffered in that game, the way it handles things were all built to work with the netcode it had.  Strive isn't on that level because it was originally a delay based game and the menus still have some jank, but it's very solid
 
Also that being said FUCK KI combo breaker system in that game is easily top ten worst fighting game mechanics ever devised
