RSG3 reacted to DangerousJ in The Marvel comics and Mcu thread
I finally got to see Spider-verse 2.
Pros:
The different art and animation for the different universes. The colors are really striking in this film. It looks like a $100 M film.
Gwen getting more focus. Miles' mom was a foot note in the first film but it was nice she got some screentime in this film.
This is one of the funnier Spider films yet the dramatic moments land.
I always felt Oscar Isaac was a poor fit for Apocalypse and I didn't care for Moon Knight, but I liked his take on Miguel
The cameos!
Despite being 2hrs 12 min, the movie flew by!
The cliffhanger....
Cons
None.
Overall 9/10 -equal to the first!

I love and still buy amiibo but one look at the prices for some of those suckers and my wallet hurts.

It's Ford Mustang logo with the Lion replacing the horse. Well....you can't plagiarize yourself I suppose.

Not sure what you're getting at. The divinity of Christ and most of the stories in the Bible are counterfeited/plagiarized from much older religions, even his "birthday" is stolen. Everything is a copy of a copy.

I actually agree with the premise of the video btw. I don't want Pride symbols or any symbols (especially religious) anywhere near official buildings.
I was only making an observation how the ancient hatred towards homos AKA the seeds of Satan has turned old foes into allies in the current political climate.

I mean that was bound to happen after a 10 year gap. It's still Armored Core, dudes need to chill.
And Vaati needs to stop describing it as a Souls game.

Sometimes I wear a rainbow guitar strap, because I like it. I also have a North Face hat because my daughter picked it out because it has a cool mountain on it. I don't give a shit, I'm wearing it and it doesn't mean anything except it's a cool hat.
But if I still drank alcohol, I still wouldn't drink Bud Light because that shit is nasty.

RSG3 reacted to Sonichuman in The Zelda Thread: TOTK officially out May 12th, spoilers out now. Avoid social media if you can.
I'm on Death Mountain now to try to help them out and I never realized the music that plays in the caves is a super slow version of the original Death Mountain theme. Pretty sure they used it in BotW but it was only when I started humming it in while I was in the cave that the lightbulb went off.

I'll never get over people accusing Capcom of refusing to move on from the SFII cast. It's true, but they say it like there isn't a reason for that lol.

This is one of the best versions of Bloody Tears I've heard I think. Music starts around the 20 second mark, after the promotion. Worth a listen.

reminds me of all the TMNT pen and paper RPG books from palladium back in the 80's. A lot of the campaign books were post-apocalyptic. I still have a bunch of the handbooks and pewter figures somewhere. Back when I was first getting into Magic the Gathering when I was around 17 a friend's dad gave them to me. Even back then some of the pewter figures were worth 100's of dollars.

Logo design is always on a mission to modernize, be sleeker, and still be recognizable. It doesn't go well with sports teams, usually losing their recognition in the process.

Yea cuz those games aren't set up for stealth, so it ends up a hamfisted idea executed like shit. It also tends to run counter to how the character does things from a narrative strength standpoint. I'll use Lord of Shadow 2 as my example, where I'm Dracula and I can literally level armies, but for arbitrary reasons that don't make sense I have to sneak through this next areas because the devs had to have a stealth section for some reason. I can level mountains but not this slightly larger then average dude in black armor because reasons.
