I tried to play the original several times and always got bored. I also remember the stealth options sucking, which was kind of a bummer.
I guess I'll try it again with this remake.

No, apparently it will just make you better at Smash and 3S.
STAY AWAY FROM THE KIDS!
Play Melty instead.

Will molesting children make me better at fighting games?

Game is definitely a console game -- console player base is WAY larger. It's pretty dead in the US but still really popular in Japan.

Been quite busy but I will try to get started on those in a bit!

I think I still prefer Vampire: The Masquerade / Skyrim / etc., and other games that give you a bit more freedom. Vampyr seems like it's giving you a lot of options, but then it punishes you when you try to take them.
The hint system actively penalizes you if you don't complete quests a certain way / talk to people at a certain time / pick the 'correct' dialogue choices. Pair this with the way the district health system works and you end up with a very clear and obvious way the game is trying to get you to play.
So yes, you have some agency, but you're actively handicapping yourself when you try to exercise it in a way the game doesn't agree with. I like my RPGs to be a bit more freeform and less rigid in structure.

So I started playing Vampyr thanks to @MillionX, but I'm not sure I like the aggressive auto-save and the 'hint' system for the NPCs. Still pretty fun though. Having a lot of fun with the combat.

On YouTube you need to stream at high resolution (like 1440p and up). When you do so, YouTube switches to its high-res codec, which has better quality. Still not as good as having a 'source' quality option, but it's all you can do.

It is totally fine if people want to come here -- the more the merrier!
However it is very important that any site performance issues (slow loading etc.) are reported right away. If traffic is really high I may need to beef up the server the site is running on.

I really wanted to use Youtube as my main streaming platform but the video quality was a big letdown for me. No matter what bitrate I used Youtube compression really killed the quality.

Oh I guess I never posted the final word count here. 26 Chapters, an Epilogue, and 140,779 words. It came out to 301 pages in a standard 6"x9" format. I'm getting one copy printed for myself, I literally slapped together this cover with limited tools in like a half hour. BTW: That's a pseudonym and not my government name.

Hope everyone is doing well.
Here's an anime/ad campaign made by a condom company. Several episodes are available. You're welcome.

@misterBee Thank you for having a forum that works man. I really wish people would just get off of SRK and come here. The setup here is so much better it isn't funny.

Some of ya might've seen it already on that other forum but here it is!
😮 the temptation is strong here.... too bad those Arcade 1UP machines are typically kinda small compared to actual arcade cabs from back in the day.

I play mobile games on my PC using Bluestacks. Big screen + PC horsepower make them much more enjoyable.
I like playing handheld consoles -- but I prefer to do it at home. I don't feel the need to to game on the train, and if I'm walking down the street/going to the store it doesn't make sense to be pulling a console out to game for a few minutes at a time.
Since I'm going to be playing at home anyway, might as well just have a big screen. I've spent many hours on GBA/DS wishing that they were on TV instead with a better controller. These days emulation makes it easier to play stuff on a big screen but certain DS/3DS games still require me to use the original hardware for touch support. 😢
