Garfield doesn't bother me because Garfueld is a corporate merchandising platform, not a comic strip, or a cartoon, or even a movie. It's just a vehicle to make Davis fuck loads of money, he doesn't care. He hasn't drawn the strip in decades, it's ghosted out to other writers. 
 
So the movie having the corporate friendly choice of Chris Pratt makes all the sense. It's honestly perfect casting. 

Yeah thats Chris Pratt as Garfield alright....He did a better job as Mario.  Take that as you will.

Glad to see they got forced to reverse course. I mean if I was a filmmaker I definitely wouldn't want to fuck with WBD given how they have been acting unless they put it in writing they would not shelve my product for a tax break.

I hate how they get away with it. Instead of just paying for a slightly bigger cart, they just pay for one big enough for a portion of the data, make the costumer download the rest and make that mostly empty card you bought just a key to play it. 
 
It is such a terrible practice but most companies are doing it even with discs based games.

Cheap bastards should have put it all on the cartridge though. Still don't really see the point of a retail release that only accommodates half of the game.

Having watched The Marvels, I can say in terms of entertainment it is one of the better MCU films post Endgame. 
 
It is a short run time which makes me think something like the strikes or a demand from on top caused them to cut some of it. But what is there was entertaining and fun. 
 
One complaint, I was at a dinner cinema and during the time it took me to sign the receipt for the meal the final fight was over and I missed the whole thing. My fault for trying to tip I guess.

Hey has anyone else watched "Blue Eye Samurai" on Netflix. I ended up binging it. Only real criticism I have off the top of my head is that I saw the "twist" coming from a mile away. It was a good time, looking forward to Season 2.
 
 

I'm waiting for the stories blaming men to come out. Like the ones that come out about women's sports when, it's the women that aren't showing up. 65% of the audience for The Marvels were men. To quote BIll Burr. "Where are all the feminists!?" I haven't seen the movie. I can't speak from experience but Iv'e watched several reviews. Reviews from a wide variety of reviewers. People with from different backgrounds and they all basically say the same thing. Weakest villian in MCU History, no real plot, with the only bright spot being Iman Vellani's Ms. Marvel. The latter doesn't surprised me at all. She's passionate about comics and it exuded through performance in the Ms. Marvel series. Dan Murrell's review was the harshest of all and you can't call him "Anti-Woke."  IIRC he said the movie, as constructed, shouldn't have been released.

I'm happy to report that Loki sticks the landing. 
 
A fitting end to it all. His whole mantra is a thing.
 
Also, they better keep Majors around.

Hot Spells, the banned Darkwing Duck episode is not on Disney+. Satan actually appeared in two episodes prior to that one. 
 
There a ton of funny lines in DWD but one of my particular favorites is in "Disguise the Limit," DW is framed and a reward is offered for his capture. A bunch of citizens pull up on DW packing heat. DW: I knew I should have voted for gun control. 

Looking back on these old Darkwing Duck episodes... there is no way some of these episodes could be done today. In the episode "Negaduck", Darkwing is split into good and bad halves. The bad half goes to a movie theater, pulls out a shotgun and starts blasting away.

I'm surprised that Kuma didn't go full Guts (Berserk) from all this shit. At this point the Celestial Dragons might be the most detestable villains ever.
