Watching the preview clip on Steam along with a youtube playthrough and it's really tough for me to make out some of the enemy bullets from your own attack.

On another note, after playing through P3 Reload for awhile, I restarted BG3. I kept reading all of Millions posts and it motivated me to finish up Act 3. I'm not sure how much I have left, but I feel like I've knocked out a large chunk of the main content.

All these years later it's still one of my favorite moments in the Bleach anime...  Yammamoto just slightly flexing his crazy spiritual pressure/power to immediately shut down Nanao before she could even attempt a Kido spell....

She was instantly debilitated and couldn't even remain standing....and of course this is just a small sampling of how completely busted the upper ranks of the Bleach characters are.

and finally--- I've been trying over and over to beat the act 2 boss on Baldur's Gate 3 for some crazy amount of time today....

Astarion came through with such a critical big hit for 49 damage out of nowhere on a sneak arrow shot...that was an unexpected big deal to help turn the tide on what was seeming like yet another hopeless attempt.  Minthara was down, unfortunately...and she's one of the heavy hitters.  I had to use that new *spoiler* Dark Urge-specific power, so with that I was able to get some big hits as well and that finally sealed his fate.  This played out like such an epic grand finale battle in a show, with some people dead or critically injured... our main protagonist having to rely on his latest upgraded power he recently acquired to finish the fight in a big way.  The characters even look bloody and bruised now, as they stand over their defeated foes on the battlefield.

One of them had an illithid worm in there so that's another little upgrade power for us to collect; I let Minthara have this one.   My warlock has 7 or 8 of those unlocked at this point.

As someone whose favorite villain from the show is Zaheer and the Red Lotus, I find it weird how a lot of people think he’s the pinnacle of air bending. His biggest strengths is that no one knew the matchup and he’s the one of the two air benders to go for lethal moves. If 12 year old Aang somehow got to fight him, I’m sure he’d be able to beat him.

One other thing I see people overrate is him unlocking the ability of flight. It’s not like how lightning bending was for fire benders. It’s not based on skill or something you can just learn. It’s from letting go of everything. This is a near impossibility for early air benders since they’re given a sky bison that becomes their best friend and Tenzin who has his family. Flight for Zaheer isn’t to show how he’s an air bending master, it’s to highlight that he has nothing to care about when P’Li died.

Just on normal. I considered upping the difficulty, but then I figured I have enough games in my backlog that it might be better to take it easy on the normal difficulty. There's still Mario Wonder, BG3, FF VII Remake and Rebirth, Prince of Persia, Granblue and now freaking Unicorn is out. Hahahaha so many games.

Still playing through Persona 3 Reload. Really enjoying it so far, but there are a couple small annoyances. The first one is that the game is much easier than P4 and P5. This isn't too much of a problem since it makes the game go by quicker. Considering my gaming backlog, I'm actually glad you don't need to grind levels. The other weird issue is the text they used for social links. If you aren't going to level up a social link, the prompt says something along the lines of, "I don't think this social link will improve no matter how much time I spend with this person." I thought some of the links were locked behind story progression before I could level them up. However, no, it's just like the old games where you just need to hang out with them more and then later on you can level up the social link. At least it never feels like you wasted a day since you can just level up your personality traits or level up another social link.

haha that was cool... in one early dungeon type area... when you break the door down, there's 1 character in there alone, but if she runs off she will alert others for help... well this time since this latest character is a paladin, I used that "Command" spell and it worked... commanded her to "approach", so that stopped her from running over to the other door to get help....instead she turned around and came back over to me....  I easily killed her while those in the other room are still unaware of our presence.

I might be alone on this, but I'd kind of be interested in a full remake in 3D while keeping Toriyama's art style. I'm thinking something like Dragon Quest XI (which I can't believe is getting close to a decade old). I'd basically want the battle system to stay the same though. Maybe add a couple new moves or something along those lines.

@RSG3Ah that makes sense. I was trying to play it more as a pure action rpg similar to Granblue or FF16. I tried to focus more on basic attacks and dodging. I kept thinking I was missing the dodge window for attacks.

To still think of it as something of a turn based rpg. Your normal mash square attacks really don't do much damage until you've staggered someone, they are more for building ATB Bar so you can use Abilities and cast Spells. Also dodging really doesn't have any i-frames at all and yoy really are supposed to use the Block button often. It works, it's very useful.

Otherwise advice starts to become more specific. As you aquire Materia pay atrention to moving it between characters to keep it leveling up, experiment with the Blue, Yellow, and Purple Materias, especially Purple they can alter the way the game plays for you as they alter how characters function. And don't forget you can play as, as well as give your team mates commands while playing someone else. The game wants to you to multi-manage a decent amount of stuff.

Yes it was on purpose because its his character design that's influencing the game look.
"Hips and Legs" .  This game's protagonists cheeks aren't actually that great (imo) despite the earlier trailers seemingly putting a bull's eye on it.  Pretty sure this is one of those illusion situations where you look at her from the back and you're like GATDAMN but then she turns to the side and its like oh....

The one silver lining that comes from anytime the VG industry is just laying people off with reckless abandon, people always point out and remind people that someone has shown that it is possible to actually run a company and actually give a shit about your employees.
