i was all over it. yea it was a blast. my only gripe was collectables. i didnt mind em not being on the map like in jsrf but that the game didnt even tell u if u collected all for a stage/lvl or not. but they patched it. it was fun and a great honorable rip off of jet. tbh i hope they make a sequel. oh yea my other gripe w it was that all the different characters were just the same universal character but withdifferent skins. no point in unlocking a new character when all characters had same exact stats and abilities. unlocking different characters in jsr/jsrf was fun cuz every character played differently. diff ability. stamina, speed, jump height. but in brc unlocking characters was meh. they looked cool. but they all felt samey. 

I still have this clip of Shaq performing before a crowd and yelling out this line during a rap - "Kobe!  Tell me how my ass taste!  Alright everybody, Kobe, tell me how my ass taste!" 😆 Tom Leykis played that soundbyte quite often on his show; it was a classic; I have it saved on my phone......would make for an interesting ringtone or alert noise if I wasn't already set on my current favorite.
 
After all these years---my current ringtone is still that clip of Hulk Hogan in No Holds Barred, when he roughed up the limo driver--

I might be further along in Doom Eternal now on Steam Deck than I was on the Xbox... I killed the "Doom Hunters" yesterday...that fight was rough; you're fighting 1 as a boss enemy...then right after that there's 2 of them + several enemies at the same time, of course.  Yes, I vaguely remember that those guys aren't all that in comparison to the infamous "Marauder" enemy that appears later.
 
The Super Shotgun is so amazing.... it and the regular one continue to be my favorite shotguns probably in all of gaming history.  The super's damage is insane, like a close shotgun blast should be.  You're seeing even big enemies get blasted to pieces.  It's beautiful every time.

I may be finished Christmas shopping for my parents (I may add something to these gifts later)... that's always a relief because I truly hate shopping during the "Christmas shopping" time of year...of course it only gets worse as we get closer to Christmas, and even now around mid-November the increase in crowds at certain places already seems noticeable to me......it's always good to get that out of the way as fast as possible.  It's fortunate that there's only about 5 people I get things for.... I can only imagine the frustrations at this time of people with a much bigger amount of family and close friends where it's a normal expectation to get them something.
 
...Interesting how Christmas kinda stops being enjoyable beyond childhood, imo.  My opinion probably would be different if I had kids but this particular holiday time (Christmas) is  just an annoying drag and has been for quite some time to me.
 
*Thanksgiving is alright with me though, because I have absolutely no obligations around that one.... like this one coming up---I have no plans other than working out and gaming...and maybe get some turkey from Publix or Kroger, etc... very nice 4-day weekend plans there with things I actually want to do.... no obligated visits to certain people.

I remember that guy with the name "WTF-AKUMA" would always post odd pictures of "Viper" the rapper.... I almost always got a laugh out of it since it was tough to sort out what the hell was going on with that dude's posts.

That Bankman guy always looks like he smells bad... like no matter how often he showers, or what kind of soap he uses....he just looks like there is a persistent aura of stench that radiates from him.  This reminds me there was a dude like that in high school....it was just funny to me that he always smelled like a pile of shit literally...like someone placed a magical curse on him to smell like that forever.  It's like he was the real life Stinkor from He-Man....but yeah Sam Bankman looks like one of those people cursed with a permanent stank aura.
