I think nowadays is the first time I can juggle multiple consoles ever since fully committing to just one ever since I was a kid (PS4/PS5/Switch). I was a Nintendo fanboy up until the mid-90's when the PS1 got my attention and never looked back (well I kinda did since they gave the N64 to my sister as a gift and my brother bought a GC later on)

I started binging Transformers Animated. Been about a year since I've seen the series. I cannot believe there was a point in the late 2000s where I was not down with the designs. I like to think I've done a considerable amount of mental growing since then because I love the character designs of TFA now. Prowl in TFA is my favorite incarnation of the character. Bumblebee in TFA is the kid of the group without being too annoying. 

Didn't have much income during younger years so barely had more than one console untiiiiill... I think GC?  I think GC  the first console I purchased with my own money?  I started out with NES, SNES, then got a Genesis.   The SNES and Genesis was the first and only time while I didn't have my own real income that I more than 1 console.  Went N64, then GC and then PS2, Wii, XB360, PS3, Wii U, PS4, Switch, PS5.  360 the only M$ console I bought cause they were on fire that generation cause of Sony's head beeing so far up their own ass.    PSWii60 was the only time I had all the consoles for the big 3.  This generation may be dif cause I'm still contemplating an XSX for Gears and back compatibility.  My son has latched on to ANYTHING Transformers and it'd be nice for him to play the Cybertron games upscaled.  Not something I'm super concerned with right now since hs still doesn't have fundamentals of moving and looking down yet though.
 
Handhelds started with Game gear, then GBA SP, DS, and then 3DS.  I have a Vita but I don't even know if I want to count that since I have turned it on a grand total of 1 time when Gamestop gave it to me for free and I have no games for it.

As a kid I'd always have the latest Nintendo system though at one point I had a 3DO. Today I have a PS5/XSX/Switch, a nice phone, a decent laptop and now a Steam Deck.
 
None of this is getting me laid though. Weird.

I always only had one piece of entertainment per year. One toy purchase a year, one console a year. Every time I'd get something new, I'd have to donate the old thing. That meant that after I got my PS3, I couldn't get anything new besides games every few months. Same went for my PS4. It's only now that I bought myself a PS5, a Switch and a PC. I buy pretty much all of my stuff now, so I can budget accordingly. Things are better than they were, so I'm grateful.

I'm still late to the game on reddit so it's almost all new to me... just now saw one called "publicfreakout" which is what you could expect...I'm sure that a couple of years ago it was dominated by "Karens" clips that were the latest thing, but now the mods there are having to put in some big work since there's tons of videos of the constant store looting and robberies... that tend to of course show off a certain demographic that we're supposed to pretend we aren't seeing "overepresenting"  about 99% of the damn time in these clips.  Whatever the case, it's at least interesting to watch the continued decline of this pathetic, embarrassing excuse for society.
 
...more things I'd love to get into a time machine and tell people of the 70s, 80s or even the 90s (also the era of a President getting head from an intern in the oval office and sploogin' on her dress) about... like we have some politicians apparently showing up in shorts and a hoodie... and at least 1 senator (Rhode Island) that was proudly on video twerkin' upside down for votes...while some people apparently have trouble defining what a "woman" is now, and some think it's perfectly sensible for a dude that's an athlete to decide he's a "woman" and then be allowed to seriously compete in the women's side of whatever sport he's into.  There's so much wild shit there would be to tell as a time-traveler to the past (while struggling to keep a straight face) that you wouldn't even know where to begin.... no way the person of the past would believe even 10% of what you'd have to tell them about the future....they'd think you're either insane or you must be joking.

Ohh yeah looking back I was definitely a bit spoiled later..... I started with the ancient Atari 2600.. but that was during the time NES already existed so I was late to the game... it wasn't long before I got NES for Christmas (one of my best childhood Christmas memories there)...so in the 8-bit era I had just Atari and NES.  A friend had the Master System so I still got to play games on that system thanks to him.
In the 16-bit era though, yeah I had the big 2---SNES and Genesis; both hooked to the same tv in my room.
 
Later, I'd get the PlayStation...it was so awesome I didn't even desire the other systems that were trying to compete with it at the time.  No, the N64 wasn't even close, imo.  Playstation's lineup was ridiculous from day 1.  Then years later I got the legendary Dreamcast, and after that the Gamecube and the first Xbox shortly after that.  From there's it's been pretty much all bases covered---360 then PS3 once the "Slim" was released.
 
Current era; I have Series X and the PS5.

We only had an NES  during that gen but in the 16 bit gen we had a SNES and a Genesis. Then later i had a N64 and a about a year later i bought a PS1 with summer work money and have had almost all 3 major players consoles ever since. Only recently have I not owned an Xbox. I would like a Series X for the Back Compat but that's something I can get later when they are cheaper.
