The only thing this conversation has done is make me want to eat candy corn.

Pretty much sugar and corn syrup, like I said, it's essentially the same ingredients as a marshmallow but without any air in it so the texture is different.
It's not a top-tier candy, but as a seasonal (Halloween) novelty it's fine.

You can only embed external images from a secure site.  Most major sites and services (like imgur and discord) use SSL and are secure, but if you're grabbing the image from some dinky blog or something then it may not be.  You can tell a site is secure because you will often see a little lock icon in the address bar next to the site address.
 
URLs for secure sites start with https:// (note the 'S'). 
 
If your link only shows http:// then it probably comes from an insecure site and won't embed.

Apparently Weight Watchers is one of the most successful weight loss programs.  Not because their diet is particularly special, but because once you achieve your goal you become a lifetime member and basically can stay in the program for free.  And no weight loss program will have permanent effects without permanent change to what you're doing.

Haven't tried that specifically, but tried the store-brand equivalent.  It was ok, but the sweetness is . . . off somehow, like the artificial sweetener doesn't quite hit all the buttons real sugar should, or maybe there's just less than I've been conditioned to think there should be.  Maybe not being cheap and getting the name brand would make a difference though.
It is more convenient to have something to add to water instead of stocking jugs of whatever else.
