Ok, the fact Budokai 3 is above Burst Limit, BT 3 & XV2 are above the LoG series, and Supersonic Warriors is even in the top 10 makes this list suspect.

I played Tekken 7 for the first time today... I, I think I've seen the light. Good-ass Tekken is indeed good-ass.

Third Strike Ryu mains

As someone who rarely ever tries doing combos with Guile, I don't mind having normal Booms and 'Perfect' Booms. If I get lucky and pull off a PB and smack my surprised opponent in the face, great. If I don't, I still have my normal ass booms to fall back on 🤷‍♂️.

Information withdrawals are starting to set in for me. I need more!

On a lighter note, I'm feeling really good about VI. I've been playing FGs as seriously as I could for the past 18 years or so and there is something about VI that feels different. Like a different energy in the air.

I remember the launch of both IV and V. There was some excitement in the air for SF's return with IV but still some trepidation. We all know how V's reveal went. With VI, though, it seems like everyone is happy so far.

Another thought I had on Drive Rush: Can you use it on whiff? Or only on hit/block? Because, if you can use it on whiff, you might be able to - throw poorly timed projectile -> opponent jumps -> Drive Rush on reaction past opponent -> escape jump in.

After watching way too much gameplay, I have a couple thoughts:

1. There is conflicting information about how canceling into supers work. Max said that only Lvl 3 Supers could cancel from specials and that the lower leveled ones had to be linked into (like juggling with Ryu's EX hadouken). But in the IGN JP footage I watched, Luke cancelled (not linked) his EX uppercut into his Lvl 2 super 🤔.

2. Drive Rushing, and successfully doing it, is going to be the barometer that sets apart good players from average players.

All that comparison is showing me is that Guile has somehow grown wider and TALLER throughout the years. Gigantism Guile confirmed?
