You might be onto something with R. Mika. I've also read on twitter from someone who seems to be always chatting with Nakayama and he said Mika will return with Nadeshiko

Do you think season 2 DLC will start like usual, in early 2024, or do you think we'll have to wait a year, til summer 2024?

I do miss the influx of players that signed up before the arrival of a major SF game, it was organized chaos and brought with it some colorful characters over the years. I think for better or worse, Megashock is going to remain lowkey throughout SF6's time. But maybe that's better? We're a bit older from those days, so peace and quiet ain't boring anymore.

I think its cause forums are no longer this "go to" place to discuss gaming and characters. I remember back in the SRK the character threads being full of people, then they began to dry up way before the site closed down. I dont think we'll ever see that kind of action again, and I'm fine with it tbh

Ask Capcom section was the best before because you get answer, from TAS, SVEN and SKIL sometime but they let go of it later on it because it a demand section

I go to Gamefaqs SF board and its ok. Hardly as many exciting conversations as on here. Reddit seems better although I hate the format to discuss things.

The worst one is Resetera. They ban you if you even mention Hogwarts Legacy, that's their level of stupidity and fragility...

SRK was always the best place, and this is the best substitute.

I mean most of the female cast is pretty unique. That said, Mika was the first female grappler, and even though they keep adding new ones, she'll always retain that title.

I'm basing the list on general opinions though, I much prefer Karin over Sakura, but its undeniable that Sakura is more iconic to the masses - not counting character usage here.

Not sure I would put R. Mika up there just yet, I'd say she's in the same tier as Karin and Makoto. Popular but not iconic yet. They stayed away from the franchise for too long.

So the rumor was true, Decapre was gonna take her place in the launch roster.

Kinda amazing that Capcom considered Cammy expendable all the way til SFV. Really weird how they viewed Chun-Li as the only iconic female in the franchise, but I guess finally we have 2 (3 if we upgrade Juri to that status in SF6).

But 3 iconic females still lags behind several other fighting games, who seem to have at least 6 iconic legacy female characters that are guaranteed in the launch roster.

Rose and Sakura absolutely deserve that iconic status by now, considering how long they've been around, their popularity, and in Rose's case, her role in the main plot throughout the series.

I would add that Poison and Ibuki are pretty classic by now too, easily recognizable and are definitely on that path. Not launch roster guaranteed material, but definitely should return every game.

Didnt he say he was sad that he couldnt get Cody for SF6? I'm not sure that's he's the sole decider on who gets picked.

He also loved Noembelu and she's never been playable.
