Geoff Keighley did an AmA about the game awards today the main takeaways are 
 
* the event will be about 2.5 hours long 
* about 12 games will debut at the show 
* about 15 games should be shown in total* 
* expect something big from Microsoft (rumors of Microsoft buying Sega intensifies)
* Nothing that is going to be announced has been leaked. 
* The show will feature a presenter that Keighley considers a “dream guest” who he’s been trying to get on the awards show since it’s inception. 
 
* Keighley does not specify if it is games in total or games separate from the debuts. 

You overthinking a fighting game plot. Main story of Tekken has always been the ultimate family feud with everything involving the Mishimas being played for drama. It's as deep as your daytime soap. 

Ya'll dudes that ain't seen Breaking Bad or The Wire need to start. The Wire's 5th and 2nd seasons aren't as good as the rest (in fact, 5th is the worst), but they're still great TV.
 

3 and 4 do a bad job of really getting into the psyche of the situation. 3 starts off that way due to the tension between Rocky and Mickey. Then it devolves into "if you wanna beat a black guy, you gotta stay hungry and train like a black guy. Look at this gym full of hungry balck guys, Rocky. Your italian ass isnt going anywhere if it keeps eating meatballs." Then a montage later, Mr T gets peaced out and the whole thing ends.
 
Rocky 3 is actually kinda wack tbh.

I grew up using traditional SF style notation ("d,df,f+P" etc which sucks and is way harder to type than the much better "qcf" or "dp" system) but learned numeric when I started playing SamSho and to me the numeric system makes more sense especially when you consider that SNK and GG games have attack buttons tht could be confused with directions (SNK's
 B & D buttons and Guilty Gear's Dust button.)  
 
As an older player I get what "dp" or "tk" connote, but if we aren't playing street fighter then they're just more esoteric concepts that make no sense to use in a game that doesn't have those actual moves in them. I don't know that I have an easier time reading one or the other, but I think the numeric system is more universal and makes more sense to be the one people use especially in games that aren't SF.

Too expensive.

There’s a few little things I wanna do like move some figures around so they’re more under the light and find a more permanent way to feature the light fixtures (I’m using light pucks that you see in closets, laundry rooms, pantry’s, etc). Im also probably going to look into brighter puck lights. 
 
All that said I’m really happy how my new amiibo display shelf looks now.

Just got an email from a grad student that he tested positive for COVID yesterday and we had direct contact on Friday. 
 
in the email he said he was experiencing mild symptoms on Friday that got progressively worse prompting him to get a test.

It sounds to.me like Avengers fails due to loot mechanics and grind that really shouldn't be there. 

the newest avengers game didn’t fail because of Kamala. It failed cause it’s a horrible game made by shit tier devs. In fact almost every review had said Kamala and her story was one of if not the best part of the game. 
 
Also, Kamala Khans books sell well and are always well received.  As is she. Single issues don’t sell well these days regardless of IP and the direct market is trash. Her merchandise is also among the best selling for Marvel. 
 
A lot of the cancellations of her runs have been due to things outside of Marvels control. Despite that, 70+ issues is nothing to scoff at. A lot of titles whether they’re Marvel/DC or otherwise rarely get that luxury 
 
Besides, she’s still a pivotal character in current Champions comic and they’ve all but announced her new solo run. Plus her new Disney+ series. 
 
She’s not going anywhere
