whatttttt.....yeah this foolishness with Young Thug and Future is HIGHLY questionable, bruh, and that's putting it nicely:

not that often, actually...even though the movie theater experience is kind of a big deal to me... there's still only a few types of movies that demand that experience, imo.  Lately that's just been comic book movies and some horror---specifically the new It.

I still think it's odd and kinda sad that a certain friend has given up on the movie theater experience completely, purely out of cheapness.  He's automatically factoring in the price of his girlfriend's ticket, along with any snacks he or she wants...(*he never considers going alone since the concern there is that she'd find out somehow and of course he'd be "in trouble" 😆)  This guy hasn't gone to the movie theater probably since the early 90s.  Now---I'm a proud cheapskate too but DAMN, man....that's a bit too far in hardcore cheapness even for me.  Yeah dude, have fun waiting on things like Avengers Infinity War to hit blu-ray and dvd, and trying to avoid random spoilers the entire time when literally every other fan has seen the shit. 

This is also annoying because it makes conversation quite difficult, obviously....since every time you bring up some movie (or shows since he's typically behind on those) it's always -"hey whoah I haven't seen that shit yet.." 🙄 oy vey, man

Sure... but my only condition with immortality is something else--- I need invincibility to go with it.  My worst fear as an immortal would be any scenario where I get dismembered, with presumably no regeneration factor to reform like your average high-level DBZ villain.  I would require super regeneration/healing factor (e.g.- Majin Buu; you could cut his head off or even vaporize the top half of his body...and he'll regenerate and be perfectly fine just a matter of seconds later.).....or outright invincibility.  

Even without the regeneration or invincibility, I'd at least consider it.... because the saddest thing about the human condition is that we have to die at some point....fuck that nonsense.  I'd prefer to always be around, even into the distant future when this galaxy no longer exists.  I'd love to be around to observe literally anything and everything that will happen for the rest of time....like a real life "Uatu the Watcher" from Marvel...there's bound to be some fascinating things that may happen 25 trillion years from now, somewhere in the universe....or even right here where our solar system once existed.  Yeah, I'd more than likely go for it.

*sidenote--the concept of immortality is part of the reason I've always been fascinated with the idea of vampirism.

The latest from Snort... apparently some banners Phil was using turned out to have Tevin's face hidden in them.  Leanna was hidden away in one of them too 😄 

On another note...every time the summer starts, it reminds me of how awesome childhood was... school would be out, and you were free to do absolutely nothing for a good 2.5 months or so.  It was incredible, man.... I'd watch USA Cartoon Express in the mornings while eating some breakfast mom cooked (lucky me; both parents and both grandmas were/are quite skilled in that kitchen, so my meal situation as a kid was covered no matter what)... then either play with toys, games or play outside...check out Price is Right at 10 am, then back to playing the rest of the day...perhaps get a nap around noon but wake up for the afternoon cartoons.  Nothing beat that summer vacation, man.  As working adults though we can still get some of that fun time back by simply taking off work mainly in the summertime.  I'm intending to take a good chunk of time off around the time Vampyr comes out, of course....which leads nicely right into E3 week.  Ohhhh it will be glorious.

sheeeeit, ok so I STILL wasn't quite done with Bayonetta 2 then... I kinda forgot about the Tag Climax mode and the unlockables there.... so I was playing that recently; unlocked Rodin AND "Lumen Sage" as playable characters!  Unfortunately this highlights one of my only gripes with the game though--- both of these badass dudes are ONLY playable in the Tag Climax mode though.  It would be cool if they were playable in Witch Trials or even Story mode, as odd as that would be.

NEXT WEEK-- Wizard of Legend on 5/15, folks.  Hell yeah. (*it's on everything... PC/X1/PS4/Switch)

there was some old rock song I heard on the radio the other day... I could've sworn they were saying the word "f-word describing gay people; or a cigarette if you're a Brit apparently" over and over in there (*I only really tip-toe around actually saying/writing that because that word is seemingly banned everywhere on the net except perhaps youtube comments, where anything goes...which is why I am always entertained by youtube comments, btw) ....I hate that I cannot remember the name or even anything else about it other than that... I intended to look it up online to check the lyrics for sure...hopefully they'll play it again.  It's a station that only plays "classic rock" (usually 70s and 80s era; occasionally early 90s)  It was so bizarre, because I kept thinking that would've been a no-no word for radio back then and definitely today.

There's also a song by 3 Doors Down where the chorus sounds like they are saying "Fuck Me Like That", though the actual chorus line is "If I could be like that"....noooooo way that shit is an accident man 🤣

so damn annoying that I always fall asleep on Toonami!  The goddamn commercial break after the end of DBZ, and bam I was in Dreamland.... My Hero was the MAIN reason I was even settled in to watch Toonami tonight... now to wait on OnDemand... I really should hook the goddamn VCR up again... oh yeah I still have one of those; it's faster than waiting on OnDemand, actually..... since cable stations don't do that pattern of repeating shit on the same night anymore. (AMC is the only one I think that still does that---like if you miss one airing of Walking Dead; it's no biggie because it will be on again about 2 hours later)

sheeeeit, I'd go the same route as Zamasu in terms of the wish.... becoming completely invincible is one of the best things one could wish for...and he already has immortality....but yeah, in just about any "wishes scenario", that's one of the top tier game plans there... I want that immortal/invincible double-pack power.

so I was watching "Almighty Tevin" live-stream some DSP lately...and I saw how he plays PUBG...

Now---I already am repulsed by that game in the first place...never saw the appeal in it, actually (the game looks like pure trash, imo)... but the way Phil plays this shit makes it even more boring than it already is.  That's quite an accomplishment there.  Basically, he gathers some guns and ammo and just hides forever, going out of his way to avoid the other players.  So you get long periods of complete silence as you watch his character hide behind a fence or tree, etc.... while he's also saying NOTHING; complete "dead-air dave" status....no witty remarks, jokes, running commentary on something else, nothing.  He'll start to talk again when someone inevitably gets the drop on him and kills him, calling it cheap or blaming the "poor shooting mechanics" of the game or whatever.... (*on the flip side... if he actually gets the kill, he barely says anything other than maybe a "aha" or "got him" whatever....no significant commentary on how that went in his favor, surprisingly) 

It's amazingly terrible....but it's so bad that it flips around and becomes fascinating in a negative way, and compels me to watch (*at least via Tevin or the other "detractors")

*also in God of War-- he apparently does nothing but throw the axe ALL the time....then wonders why views are low and people are complaining about it being boring.

y'know, even though I've been keeping up with this one since it was announced....so far I still haven't seen whether or not you can turn others into vamps....I'm also wondering if feeding on people is always a kill, or is the character able to drain them without killing in the process...y'know, for those that want to be a vampire that shows some measure of restraint.  They have made it clear that it's possible to get through the game without killing anyone at all though, so I imagine that's possible....  Skyrim did have little details like that, and it was awesome... even in the "regular", non-modded game, there's at least 1 quest I remember where you get to turn someone, then you can check back on her later, seeing how she's adjusting to her life as a newly "sired" vamp in that town.

Well.... I still wasn't quite done with Bayonetta 2, apparently... I got hooked on playing it again in the "Tag Climax" mode yesterday.  Unfortunately you cannot change your character if you started already and then do an online co-op with someone... I was playing Rosa then responded to a co-op request.... Rosa is godlike but she's probably not the best choice for this mode... since she's also slower compared to the other characters (so the other person can rack up the points faster.... she only gets an advantage from what I see once she summons the mech, then the combo points and damage goes crazy for her)  

...oh and we fought RODIN!  Holy shit, man.. yeah he's there once again as an optional boss.... it's my first time fighting him, actually...that character is SO ridiculous...in 2 or 3 tries we couldn't beat him.  He has insane power, range and is probably THE fastest character I've seen in the game.  It's like trying to fight Pre-Crisis Superman or Ultra Instinct Goku, man.....goddamn

The "finger-snap" treatment definitely on annoying insects.  Mosquitos, roaches, etc. become a thing of the past... I'd magically "re-balance" whatever damage that does to the food chain (*heh, once again--as the new God... the rules of nature and reality are whatever you say they are now)....yeah, it's worth it making certain species extinct.  

and yeah-- I'd resurrect certain great talents like Prince, David Bowie, etc....and make it so others like John Williams are suddenly immortal and thus the world is never without them (or a sneaky way would be to magically "transplant" the talent directly into another one once they die, then that at least appears normal and "fair" to everyone else; humans would be unaware that you simply "recycled" a legendary talent like Mr. Williams into this new person that was just born shortly after his death.)

I'd also make all my fantasy video games into reality... just manifest them out of thin air on a special, "magical" gaming system I also conjured.  Suddenly, things like Viewtiful Joe 3 and Kingdoms of Amalur II, new Soul Sacrifice games...all that is now a reality if I say so.

There's so many cool things about the Gauntlet + all gems, man.... like with the Time gem, the good times never, ever have to end since you have absolute power over that too.  It would be funny if the current "God", if real, tried to fight you and maintain his position of power....would likely be satisfying to defeat him to truly become the new Big Boss of this universe.

There's the immediate perverted ideas that come to mind for me--- as a new god, I could easily just have whoever I want...or even create whoever I want....shit, with Soul stone, even hot celebs that have been dead aren't off limits either since resurrection is possible.  So...there's all that freaky shit right there... no one is off limits to me anymore.  Yes...I would absolutely use my newfound god status for something like this.

After having lots of fun with that... my other interests are more cosmic-level stuff... after "fixing" a few things about this world and the way it generally works (*that gets into some seriously controversial opinions there, of course--certain things, ideas, and people would simply be erased from existence....harsh, but with this kind of power behind the action, it would work), I'd leave this world and go exploring the universe....which wouldn't take much time anyway since I could be anywhere at anytime, or even multiple places at once.  There's so many things about this universe I'm curious about, and with the Gauntlet, those answers are easily found.  I could go to the "edge" of the universe to see how that looks...looking into a void on the other side of the expanding boundaries.  I could travel to a black hole and check what's going on in there.... I could seek out all other world that have advanced lifeforms, and observe them from beginning to end....perhaps I would create some as well.  I would not ever want this to end... so if the universe is to naturally come to an end...I could just decide that is not the case...it will continue forever, or keep resetting itself indefinitely.  As the new God, I'm the one that makes the rules at that point.

For the first time in many years... this is a movie I'm tempted to see at least 1 more time before it eventually leaves the theaters...it's that damn awesome.  I'm a notoriously cheap bastard so it takes a LOT for a movie to get me to do that.  I'd say that yes---this is definitely a movie that warrants repeat viewings.  When it hits blu-ray I'm DEFINITELY buying whatever special edition of it immediately....

*Ebony Maw was THE SHIT, man... I don't think the simple ability of apparent telekinesis has ever looked as awesome on screen as it does here with this character.

sidenote-- the lineup of hotness is pretty strong here, actually--- we got Mantis, Gamora, the legendary Elizabeth Olsen (salad-toss worthy)...all with a side-serving of Black Widow on the scene.

GEARS 4--

SHEEEEIT, the Scout role really has become my favorite character class to play in Horde, man.  It is one of the most crucial roles that helps the team, and it's just so fun to really be out there and all over the map.  There's certain skills the Scout gets that makes it a little easier to survive out there....like right now mine has a +60% health bonus, and there's a boost to health regeneration that is available too (though I'm not using that card at the moment), AND there's another skill card that grants you health each time you pick up the power.... currently I just have that health bonus, the +50% deposit bonus, and a delicious +80%(!!) shotgun damage

I would still have preferred if leveling either went a little faster, or you start off with more skill card slots or something.  As it is now (and since the beginning), it is SUCH a damn grind to level up....soooo slow, and the payout of those credits (that are used to buy the notorious lootbox "packs") is always pitifully small, of course....you play what seems like forever for only a few hundred credits, and one Horde Booster pack is costing 400.  I think more people would've kept playing this on a regular basis and wouldn't quit so often if the game wasn't so damn stingy and grind-focused..

....it's probably why you look at the achievement list, and notice that so many of the progression-related achievements (like "level a class to 10!") are still showing up as rare achievements---with some terrible # like "1.07% of people have this achievement" 🤣

cheh, that was a surprisingly dark moment for a Dragonball show, man... when Black/Zamasu actually tell Goku he murdered his wife and small child.  Haha, no way that moment would've been ok with the censors back in the day when regular ol' DBZ was a new thing on weekday afternoons...they probably would've cut that dialogue, or had the character just say they were "taken away" or something.

Y'know, one thing I find irritating is how guys always get the blame for not being a big hit with the ladies... like anything and everything bad is always "eh that's YOUR fault, dude.."....yeahhhhh go suck a thousand HIV-infested dicks.  

Flip that around--let's say I'm trying to recommend a certain female friend to someone...on paper she has it all going in terms of everything EXCEPT the very critical issue of looks...she's smart and has a winning personality, she has a stable job making some nice money; all around she's good....annnd then I tell ya she weighs 278 lbs....or I say she looks like Craig Mack with a wig.  Naturally she's going to be friend-zoned at best...maybe even laughed at to her face.   Now--- doesn't it sound at least a bit silly to say it's always her fault things don't work out?  No---she isn't considered attractive by most and that's just it.  Perhaps weight isn't a good example because you can work out and lose some pounds....but when people simply are not attracted to ya....I don't see that as being the fault of that person.  There is nothing you could have done or said to significantly change that situation if they genuinely are not attracted.  Think about that for a second---is there anything that Gabby Siddebe could do to suddenly make you think of her as someone that is on Salma Hayek's level?  Nope.  

But whatever, everything bad is always the guy's fault, right?  Sure.  Women have quite the enviable position in the modern western world---they hold the golden power of veto in this man/woman thing... they hold all the cards... they call the shots....and they have a long list of demands yet are NOT expected to bring anything to the table themselves.....and they are never blamed for anything...and they can do outright evil shit and always be given the benefit of doubt, always be forgiven, or treated with kid-gloves in court, they can destroy lives based on the power of their words alone (even if it's well over a decade later), literally get away with murder, etc. etc.  In various tv shows and commercials, they get to be represented as the know-it-all character that cannot possibly be wrong for even 2 seconds about anything (while the man is portrayed to be the dumb, lesser creature that probably wouldn't survive without her help)

*Think about it this way and you may get an even clearer view of my feelings on these kinda things---imagine back to your days in elementary school... let's say that for no apparent reason, the teacher is nice to only the kids on that other side of the room.  She hates you and the other kids on this side of the room.  Other side gets all the special treatment, they aren't expected to do any hard classwork/homework... and they can do the same shit your side does but they never get in trouble for it.  Hell, they don't even have to show up for class if they don't want to....or if they show up 45 minutes late that's ok too.  They can also get violent with you and that's perfectly fine with the Teacher.  There's never any logical explanation for why the other side of the room gets this special treatment, it's just the way it is and you're supposed to "deal wit it, bruh."---- you even get shouted down or insulted whenever you bring it up any aspect of this absurd situation.
