  1. ha, of course you know I'm looking forward to the casting reveal for the new Twilight show they have in the works....I'm 99% sure it's bound to be hilarious. The only real question these days is how much change are we talking about with the race (but only changed 1 way, of course) and the occasional sexual orientation and/or gender swaps. It's something you can almost bet money on at this point. Fortunately I'm not a serious fan of that franchise anyway though... the only real positive with it for me is that it paved the way for someone to decide that Vampire Diaries (far superior in every way) should be made into a tv show, and that would go on to become one of my favorite shows of all time.
  2. That is an odd thing---imagine all the scenarios there.... Say you were in 10th grade; 14 or 15 years old at the time Thanos snapped everyone out of existence. You are back now, still 15 years old and presumably you still need to finish high school, while your friends/peers who were still here that whole time are 20 years old and either in college or the military or working a job already. A guy was married with a kid on the way---"unsnapped" 5 years later he sees that the kid is now ready for kindergarten. Also, his wife most likely moved on and might even be married to someone else....imagine she's married to another dude you know, and now they have a kid that's already born. They thought you were dead at the time; no one knew that these "vanished" people would magically return at some point years later so...yeah. ha, there's all kinds of problems resulting from that situation of people magically disappearing then returning after years have passed. This reminds me---there was a show called "The 4400" that started off with that concept... it was originally on USA network I think (early role for Mahershala Ali, btw), then later got remade on CW (unfortunately). It also added the cool detail of the people that disappeared having returned with superhuman abilities. They were all still the same age as when they disappeared too (all from different points in history...all "missing"...until now in present day when they returned at the same time); it was quite an interesting story concept there.
  3. I haven't seen that Antman movie...and I don't have much interest in seeing it, but Kang still generally seems like an odd choice to be the next "major villain" in those Marvel movies. That character just never stood out as cool or interesting to me...and he looked rather silly as well so that sealed the deal on him for me, at least back when I was still getting comics regularly. Really---especially since we're just past this era of goddamn THANOS, a cool supervillain who actually succeeded in erasing at least half of all life in the universe?! a villain who also happens to be an extreme threat even without a fully loaded Infinity Gauntlet ...and it ended up with the greatest "big battle" scene/visuals in movie history..... It was always destined to be an uphill battle for them to top that.
  4. Oh yeah I recently got the Justice League complete series on blu-ray; it was either from Best Buy or Walmart. I saw just the other day that Target had that complete series of Batman in the store... one amazing bonus in there is that it includes the movie Mask of the Phantasm! I'm definitely getting that if it's still there when I go there again later.
  5. I stopped watching after that season that premiered with the revelation of who Negan killed with "Lucille". After that point, the show had reached a point where there wasn't much left in it for me... like they couldn't top themselves anymore....a "jump the shark" moment in a positive context, basically. It's inevitable that every great show reaches this point.
  6. ^quite a shame we just won't see stuff like that anymore...at least not often.... maybe even not at all. At least there's still Japan for quality animated stuff these days... there's not much to expect from anyone else. Heh, Disney certainly doesn't give a damn anymore----it's always "New LIVE-ACTION version of this old classic!" one after another these days....non-stop...and whenn they get all of them they'll just start remaking the remakes....fuckin lame ass company.
  7. the gorgeous Sunpi plays around with Super Mario 3
  8. PAWGy time though... and of course Rae Fit here gets bonus points for the glasses
  9. Imagine if someone remade Blacula... starring John Leguizamo as Blacula. "Anyone can play anyone", right, John Campea and friends?
  10. Moxsy was one of those that got to play Redfall early; some interesting commentary/insight on it
  11. The existence of that new Harry Potter show will be another juicy source of unintended entertainment....for at least 2 reasons, imo A certain loud/annoying minority that will be in an uproar again after their hilarious failure to boycott Hogwart's Legacy, because I'm sure that support of this show will equate to "killing people!!!" in their minds. ..but also the likely race-swaps that will happen. Who gets to be a black person this time? As usual, it should be interesting to see how that plays out as well. I'm not even that familiar with this franchise but it should be funny to see what happens there. Speaking of funny casting... looks like the ones that likely cheered for Ariel's recent change are upset about the girl they got for Lilo & Stitch being too light, btw....suddenly it's a problem and they care about accuracy, I guess... https://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/this-casting-is-blatant-colorism-live-action-lilo-stitchs-nani-casting-upsets-fans/ar-AA19TUHJ
  12. Well, that story got some juicy details, I see: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/police-arrest-suspect-in-cash-app-founder-s-murder/vi-AA19SE1t https://www.huffpost.com/entry/cash-app-founder-slain-suspect_n_6439d116e4b03031958d0d2e Supposedly the guy that stabbed him was angry because Cash App founder guy was banging his sister, who is married.... such a stupid "heat of the moment" thing here; now he'll face a possible "life sentence" in prison. whoah... out of curiosity I had to look it up since it's a mostly forgotten story now... but apparently there won't be charges in the Shanquella Robinson case: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/us-prosecutors-tell-family-of-shanquella-robinson-they-won-t-pursue-charges-in-her-death-in-mexico/ar-AA19N68A damn...so at least now those so-called "friends" of hers are just safe? Mexico is apparently still looking into it. No justice at all on that one, apparently. Wouldn't surprise me if those worthless pieces of shit are laughing it off now like "haha we killed that bitch and got away with it, lol"
  13. ^that's always been an interesting dilemma of power to think about, I'd say... to be an avatar of Cytorrak. On one hand it would be great to have those powers...to be another "Juggernaut", but there's part of me that's just not quite ok with being the puppet of another more powerful being. It would be preferable to be completely free to do whatever I want, and not beholden to Cytorrak forever. However... for some reason I would be a bit more ok with being a herald of Galactus though.... so there's some mixed, conflicting opinions for me on this issue. On another note---someone mentioned it somewhere recently but it surprises me I never thought of such perfect casting before.... imagine if the supermodel Iman was an actress back in the day (outside the "Remember the Time" video, I vaguely recall seeing her in just 1 or 2 movies before)...that right there is the perfect casting for Storm, folks...and one of the hottest models of all time, imo. Of course now she's likely too old for the part, sadly.
  14. sheeeittt, Mission is my favorite brand of tortilla chips at the moment. Previously it was Santitas which are always cheap but most of the time I'm going for the Mission ones lately. That + some meat and the Paul Newman brand salsa is an amazing combo....don't even need fancy cooking skill for that--- I cook the meat up in a pan (ground beef or turkey), put the salsa on there and mix it around, then scoop with the Mission chips.
  15. ha, I still can't help but laugh when I remember a certain friend saying in Diablo 3 that GR 20 was "impossible" (*because he always had unbelievably crappy, stupid-ass builds and is just plain lazy...imagine, walking around with underleveled, non-legendary gear, no set-items and wondering "damnnn why are my characters so weak!?" 😆 so ridiculous) as I push further into that each season... just yesterday I steamrolled a GR 101 easy, and this Necro still isn't fully optimized just yet.... the "Altar" for this season makes the characters more OP than they have ever been... I have most of it unlocked at this point. all these years later... my old college buddy (different from the aforementioned friend) is finally getting thru the rest of the story mode; this was sparked by his interest in D4. haha it's 11 years later with this game and the guy is just now doing the rest of story mode....after all this time I will no longer have to tip-toe around certain spoilers there.
  16. That presentation of Final Fanntasy XVI was incredible.... I'm sure there's some terribly jaded younger-generation gamers out there trying to play it cool like "eh that looked boring" as some of the most epic shit I've ever seen in years is happening on screen. This is SO bought, man.... it might even be worth some time off work too...maybe that whole week. Those battles man, goddamn Day one purchase, easyyyy. I must have it.
  17. ^hell yeah, now that's more of what I want....this looks more serious and cool, as opposed to the usual lame, campy 2-hour comedy show a lot of people seem to want these days.
  18. whoah, this one seemingly out of nowhere...at least I've not heard of it until just now looks like the "new version of Hexen" I've wanted might be what's going on here.
  19. One of those times I'll agree with John here... this is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard of in terms of a rebranding: They're really going to drop the HBO part of the name? Bruh...
  20. mmmm....looks like a new one to keep tabs on; she's only at a few thousand subs but I'm sure that # will skyrocket very soon:
  21. whoah, that Renfield game looks like my kind of thing then---- basically a much better-looking version of Vampire Survivors. I know VS is an "indie" game but the visuals there are just ugly, tbh. ...a bit of a shame that this is likely to be the only thing related to that upcoming movie that I'll enjoy....and yep I realize that I'm alone on that opinion. That movie looks like straight up goofball lameness to me. I don't want cornball nonsense when it comes to cool supernatural stuff. It irks me that everyone else eats that shit up every damn time....everything becomes a fuckin comedy show.
  22. More of a favorite topic of mine... supposedly a bonnet was part of what killed her relationship with MBJ?! If true then good for him, having some standards. Women get away with wearing that ridiculous nonsense partly because most dudes will put up with anything. Really, words cannot describe just how much I despise that shit. I'd gladly go back in time and beat the shit out of whoever invented it....or at least whoever recently helped it come back into style. I still see it on a regular basis, btw...whenever I'm in some public place where you'll see lots of black women. It's goddamn disgusting. A lot of them just don't care about how they look in public anymore. There's no way you can go out looking like that and claim you care about your image even slightly.
  23. I checked back on Lainey Wilson's instagram... she's up to 1 million followers now, so yeah---she gained several hundreds of thousands of followers primarily on the power of that fine, juicy pawg ass. https://www.instagram.com/laineywilsonmusic/
