More of the foolishness that helps shine a spotlight on how this country (and certain places in particular like the state of NY) is forever a clown show, with an alarming % of scumbags always ready to take advantage of anything they can without hesitation.

It seriously is one of the dumbest, most absurd concepts I've ever heard of in life.  Hopefully this finally sparks the vigilante brand of justice that USA actually needs since the actual justice system is the equivalent of a tv practical joke.  People need to find out the hard way.

haha that bitch on the right actually looks like one of my old friends from grade school...like she could be his sister... a guy who turned out to NOT be a real friend anyway, because oh yeah---he was a thieving piece of shit too, like you'd expect of people from "M-town"....he and his cousin were really just coming over to steal whatever toys they could get when I wasn't looking..... of course neither of them made it to the point of graduating high school, btw... the cousin had upgraded to car theft by the time he was around 7th or 8th grade and ended up in prison, fortunately.  

Yes, this is one of those things that taught me early on in life to just never fully trust anyone.... because most human beings are scum..... trash that exists only to be a parasite and do whatever they can to take advantage, con and steal/leech their way through life on other people's money and effort.  

Baldur's Gate adventures...

And so the Warlock Alastor and his crew of degenerates was 8th level.  The powers are so good at this point; the normal stuff + *spoiler* powers, of course.  I was happy to reload an older save in this final part of Act 2 because it turned out I was about to miss 2 good encounters worth lots of exp....one fight was a bit rough but "Banishment" spell took the most problematic enemy out of the fight for a while as we killed another one....then a scroll of "Cloudkill" spell and some other things finally got that last one.... also found a room of freshly-turned mindflayers!  I took the easy route here with a certain option your character has that can instantly wipe them all out; tried fighting them earlier and the results were horrible.  Fortunately, there's some illithid device in the area that was for "rejuvenation", similar to when you're on the ship...and I noticed this fully restores everything, just like your group took a "long rest".  We've now arrived at the place where the grand finale of Act 2 will happen... figured that was a good cliffhanger to end things for the night.  

It is indeed strange to me that they casted Colin Ferrel to be fatass Penguin... this reminded me of my annoyance over them casting John Leguizamo as the clown form of Violator for the Spawn movie.  Seems like it would be easier to go with someone who already looks close enough to the character in the first place, then you would not have to waste time/money on a fatsuit and whatever else.

I am not familiar with that "Unknown" game from the picture but that character looks like she's been punched in the face so many times it just became permanently fucked up.

yeah my good memories of Titanic was that--- the scenes of some folks bouncing around as the ship was going down. Of course it's one of those things where the girls were trying to tell us "hey that's not funny" but we couldn't pretend the visual wasn't hilarious.

Also--Kate got naked at some point so that was a bonus as she was looking quite tasty back then.

sheeeitttt, hopefully I can make time for it... the addiction to Baldur's Gate is so strong... and the same for Dragon's Dogma 2 once I get started in that.  This is perfect timing though since the holiday (Good Friday) is coming up, and I have Thursday off as well. (should've taken Wednesday off too)

I also don't have much hdd space to work with on any of my systems at this point.  

Whenever I get Dragon's Dogma 2, more than likely it's mystic spearhand for my character.  Also from what I've seen of it----the Trickster looks like it sadly is lame... like there's such a great interesting concept there but there's also some questionable design choices that bring it down....won't surprise me if it ends up being the least-popular vocation in the game if they track those stats.

...back onto my beloved BG3 for a quick second.... It was either on facebook or the Baldur's Gate subreddit but I recently saw someone mention their gnome character being named "Shitler"; heh, that was a good one...might have to steal that idea for later.

A super-evil Dark Urge version of David the Gnome or Papa Smurf might be fun too.

Streets of Rage 4---- Estel is such a monster in Survival mode...  up at level 18 and just hit with a 121 hit combo; her star move just devastated the entire screen since I picked that upgrade that adds rockets to your star move....whole screen of enemies just got nuked; it was beautiful.

Earlier I was playing another favorite; Shiva...hadn't played this in a while but I made it to level 22.  

Randomized Survival mode is a thing that should just be a standard expectation in beatemups from now on.  I can't get enough of it.

...just unlocked a lot more artwork as well from that survival run; the art on this game is some of the best I've ever seen on a videogame.  Whoever that is should definitely work on as much more stuff as possible.

I just looked it up---fortunately the great state of Tennessee doesn't have this kind of nonsense squatter "rights".  We have the shame of Memphis being part of the state, BUT at least this state isn't completely retarded like NY on this particular.

One of the funny things is that even when they admit it on video like this, you know there will always be someone doing all kinds of mental gymnastics to re-frame this as being that guy's fault somehow, like "eh, maybe he was abusive behind the scenes" or "wellllll he was probably not doing  x, y and z obviously so THAT's why blahblah" because there's always an explanation that people desperately hunt for to make sure women don't ever look bad or "at fault" for 5 fucking seconds.

Streets of Rage 4 + the DLC was also on sale for super cheap on Steam recently; couldn't help myself... yep I have it again portable now on the Steam Deck.  I can't get enough of that one....already racked up several achievements just on the first few stages of Story mode, including the Combo Master (get an "Out of this World Combo!") one which was a bit surprising.  SOR4 continues to be one of the absolute top-rank beatemups to me, especially with what was added in that dlc (survival mode, extra color options and characters).  

Some very old slang that always made me laugh when I heard it---- "Don't get fresh with me, sister!"  That's real old stuff, like it would be from the black&white era shows....forgot where I heard it; probably just a Looney Tunes episode from Daffy....oh yeah and one episode of Jack Benny I remember him telling the annoying waiter "ok now you're being too fresh!" (*the annoying waiter is of course the greatest trolling character in the history of television--- Frank Nelson; that guy that would show up everywhere to troll Jack, usually saying his signature "yyyyyyEEEEEeessssssss?????" and Jack is like "oh no not THIS guy again...")

Also---that thing they do from the days of dueling with pistols... where you see one take off a glove and slap the other dude with it... something about that just got me every time... like it's an extra little bit of disrespect because you're using a glove instead of your hand to slap the person...as if to say you're not even worthy of receiving the slap directly from my hand.  It would be hilarious if someone actually did that these days right before getting into a fight.

So...browsing eShop just now I noticed this..... this is an actual game on Switch right now, folks... $13.00

That 4-day work week sounded cool at first but I don't like the way some places (like where I work) have implemented it already....by increasing the # of hours on the 4 days.  I suppose it's just unavoidable, really... basically if your weekly total of hours is 37.5, then instead of 7.5 per day....your new schedule is 9.5 hours for 3 days and one day at 9 hours.  That just didn't appeal to me....if I'm going to work a longer day I'd rather it be for the purpose of getting some overtime.  

I was reminiscing again earlier today after playing some games on lunch----about how much MORE game time we have in the kid/teen years of life, especially for portable stuff: ....whenever your parent(s) are driving you around town somewhere = game time.  Church = game time.  At school, and the teacher left the room for a minute or two--> game time.  Lunchbreak = games.  ...and of course THE best day of school... the last day when there's no work to do, and maybe the teacher put a movie on = game time.  Then all summer break = game time.  Some people don't appreciate this until later in life but man... I was living it up and appreciated how great things were as they were happening; usually thinking "why would I ever want to grow up?  This is too much fun!"  ---though I did look forward to adulthood because of the money... I accurately predicted that I'd be basically the same, and still having fun with gaming and all that... except with a regular income to afford all the cool stuff I want.

Deaf people and farting.... I had never thought about this situation until seeing this....

It would be interesting to ask them about what happens there... do they get extra nervous about how loud it may be to people that can hear?  Or...when they're living with a roommate, and they have to go take a dump... sometimes that can be an embarrassingly loud situation too and they wouldn't know.

ha, the cool wall-jumping ability is one of the main things I remember about the old NES Batman game from Sunsoft....actually I think that was the first time I remember seeing that ability in a game.

...oh I guess Ninja Gaiden had that going on as well; I forgot if that was before the Batman game or not....you could cling to a wall then jump off but quickly re-direct Ryu back to the wall....or jump from one wall to another that way, and the animation in between was a flip.

Ever since unlocking that new "Slayer" power in Baldur's Gate, it makes playing the Dark Urge that much better/cool....I had no idea going in that the character would get a power like that; it's awesome.  From now on, I'd feel like I'm missing out with my other characters that are NOT a "Dark Urge".   Man, I'd love to discuss how awesome this is with my friend who also plays the game, but I of course I don't want to spoil things....then again it may be forever before he finds out since I don't think he's playing a Dark Urge character.

*I have a small vacation coming up with the holiday next week; I should've asked for more time off---oh yeah I plan to spend a LOT more time on the game.

....frustrating thing though---of course Dragon's Dogma 2 will be out by then!  ...and yep, my current Baldur's Gate characters will likely just get remade into the Dragon's Dogma world as well....their adventures will continue there too.  This reminds me; I've seen videos of the character customization, and I noticed already that some people have created near-perfect versions of Lae'Zel, Shadowheart, Astarion, etc.

...oooh yeah, I should make an evil leprechaun as a character next!

*EDIT---well well...I'm back at the tower and woooo boy... my recent activities certainly did not go over well with home base....looks like I have to fight with Disciple Zrell and everybody now....

BG3 - so...that was quite the odd difficulty spike there... I finally got to the point of having to fight Balthazar.  At first I was thinking this might be just impossible with how my party is set up....then I went back to an older save before a certain cutscene triggers so I could start off asap on my terms...starting with an attack *before* going to the lower platform area which triggers the scene and dialogue...  suddenly it went from being impossible to somewhat easy.

Right off top I dropped that "Hunger of Hadar" spell right on him *and* made sure to drink a speed potion to get an extra attack action for a while.  I intended to go all out here because this fight is absurd.  I also had Shadowheart cast a "Silence" status on him....and Minthara hit with the "Sunbeam" which did huge damage AND blinded him for a while.  It's important to kill that bastard asap and worry about the crazy number of minions later.  This seemed like the only way to do it----each time I tried from the cutscene where you're already speaking with him, it's instant checkmate....it was an impossible fight every damn time since he always gets initiative to go first and does  at least 2 or 3 attacks immediately for huge damage while summoning a whole legion of undead minions. 

Even with the cool new "Slayer" power I got for killing the cleric I couldn't kill him and that entire undead horde alone (haha since the rest of the party was dead on that attempt; I *only* survived so long because of that power)

There's so many interesting, difficult decisions to make in this game... I wasn't sure which way to go with this after Balthazar was dead; either you let Shadowheart do a certain very important thing here or choose to do nothing or try with persuasion so something else happens.  For once, I went with what is apparently the "good" option on this one.

BG3-- another dark deed is done... the butler Sceleritas told me of a young cleric woman that should be killed....I went to that Last Light Inn where she was and happily obliged with that "dark urge" there.  Another "True Soul" was there at the behest of General Thorm, but the order was apparently to take her alive... unfortunately clashing with my goals, obviously.  Heh, yeah she didn't survive when shit hit the fan; I made sure of that.... 

...Jaheira gets pissed as well but has to help fight off all kinds of enemies that show up later...heh heh, I made sure she had an unfortunate "accident" amidst the chaos of the ensuing battle as well....when it was all over, she lay there half-naked in a pool of blood just like the others.  Nothing survived.  Unfortunate thing here is that this probably won't go over well with General Thorm, I bet....probably should've killed that other "true soul" that was sent by him so I could just lie about it all later... whatever the case, oh yeah the reward I just got was worth the trouble....I am now even more of a monster with this new power.  

I was curious to see if Campea would talk about that "Magical Negroes" movie... so far not 1 video in sight from what I've searched.... so he's probably going to avoid having to say anything 1 way or another about that movie, as I figured 😆 hey, that's just what they chose for the title... no sense in feeling apparently uncomfortable about saying it, imo.  I'm *guessing* he may have thought it would just sound silly if he tried covering it while only saying part of the title....and concluded he would just avoid commentary on it 100%.

Well, due to the shit-show concerning the woman from that studio that's working on the Black Panther game... now I'm actually more curious about what that game will end up being like.  It should be interesting to see how that all turns out.
