a shame that Dawn of the Monsters is probably a bit overshadowed because there's so many good games/content this year.  My only nitpick is that I wish the pace of combat was a little faster.  
 
on the Nintendo version eShop has this listed for $6.99.  The game + the dlc is 21.99.

That is a prequel to the game Aeterna Noctis.  Summum Aeterna is a rogue style game while Aeterna Noctis is a metroidvania style game.  I like them both.

Well, it shouldn't be a surprising thing--- they killed yet another thing with the ms rewards program; I just noticed the "1000 points" challenge isn't there for September...when previously, as far as I know it's always been available right away because you get 30 days to complete it and get the 1000.  They keep taking things away from this program bit by bit....most likely to move everything over to gamepass, I bet.....or not; perhaps it's just that greedy that they don't even want it to be easy for people (which is probably not a high % of gamers, btw, as most people are lazy about everything) accumulate a dinky little few thousand points in a month.  The other noticeable thing they removed earlier is the "1 achievement daily = 50 ms points" thing... that was pushed over to GP, of course.  It's going to reach a point where it's not even worth it to bother wasting time with the damn program at all.
 
Currently, there's just the 100 points weekly challenge, and the handful of 5 point "Check out this featured game!" ones (8 currently.)
 
This one caught my attention just now....release is next week.....

I went ahead and bought that $16 Mewtwo figure I saw at Walmart lately... I like the sculpt but the figure actually cannot stand unless you lean him against a wall/background....a bit of an annoying nitpick there.  Yeah, all these years later of that franchise existing... and Mewtwo is still really the only character design I like and find interesting/cool.  That was one of the great things about that game Pokken Tournament; Mewtwo is a playable character there.

I still wish they had 3rd person perspective as an option though.

Interesting; he noticed a major change that I did not... so the character you play will be an awakened elder, apparently?!
The original plan was that you would be a newly-turned "thinblood" that would ultimately become a *real* vamp later, likely via diablerie... so far I prefer this concept....being an "elder" would more easily fit the concept of your character being powerful (*perhaps weak in the beginning only because you just woke up after being "asleep" for a couple of centuries)

Oof; I just remembered the outrageous loading times on the Xbox 1 version of Borderlands 3.... now imagine what's going to happen with the Switch version.... 
 
I'd never play B3 on it anyway.  Besides what's likely to be atrocious amounts of load time, the Steam Deck exists and could most likely handle the game better if I ever want to play it as a portable experience.  

I forgot it was this soon that it hits the PS5 at least... 
 
I also just got Final Fantasy 16; I haven't started it up yet though... if only I had the time to play all this greatness in my collection.
