Mortal Kombat One: Part 3 😉

Fire God Liu Kang literally became the creator of the universe - the god of gods. A titan. The fact that he's still involved with such petty matters is such a leap. Stupid stupid story.

If you remember in the last game that Kronika did achieve removing Raiden from existence which was Dark Raiden but didn't account that a younger Raiden from the past would emerge again. So, Shao Kahn was right when he made a statement saying, "so, you broke time!". Why didn't Kronika banish Dark Raiden along with Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, and Fujin into the void? Would have made sense.
 
In regards to Onaga. It seems like Onaga is the One Being in physical form. Remember in one of the scrapped endings for Onaga in MKDA or MKD that they show that even the Elder Gods in wyrm form are no match for the Dragon King.
 
Let's go back to 1992  Mortal Kombat. Remember Raiden's ending? Basically, he was Dark Raiden in that timeline of the MK universe until he lost to Shao Kahn in MKA.
 
Wonder if Fire God Liu Kang accounted for all of the causes and effects when he created a new timeline. Probably not. What's will probably happen is that the heels become faces and the faces become heels. For example, Shao Kahn is the protector of Outworld and defends his realm from all of the other realms instead of being the conqueror and so forth.
 
Instead of calling the next MK game Mortal Kombat 1, why don't they just call it Mortal Kombat Zero or Mortal Kombat 0. It's basically like the Street Fighter Zero series because the lore/story line is taking place before a main game installment.

I remember that Boon's character in Tekken is Hwoarang and Harada's favorite Mortal Kombat character is Raiden.
 
Wonder if Cobra in MK is really based off of Hworang instead of Ken.
 
 
 
Well, at least in the SF series the following characters from SF1 came back:
 
Eagle
Birdie
Ryu
Adon
Ken
Sagat
Gen
Mike (if Capcom decides that Mike and Mike Bison are the same character)
 
So that's 8 out of the 12 from SF1.

There's just something about walking around and using your fists to communicate with everyone.

Here's a look at the World Tour Map from the Developers stream. Not sure if it will be presented like this in game but it gives us an idea of where they say the different places you'll vist are located. 
 
Biggest take aways are where Nayshall is located and Metro City. Nayshall looks like it's close to Nepal and Bhutan without actually eclipsing either while still being located in real world China. 
 
Metro City has moved again for the third time in SF history (they can never pin point an exact location lol). Now it looks like it isn't even in the USA like it's stating. It's as far North as to be on the border of Ontario and Qubec next to the Hudson Bay in Canada. I wonder if they got the Hudson River confused with the Hudson Bay because Metro City is supposed to be NYC🤣

Good.  But can I replace character's fight themes with better ones?

Here's a funny item from WTM. It's called Gelato Incubo translates into (Ice cream Nightmare). It's what looks to be Ice cream topped with Guile's most hated food Natto! It's effect actually weakens the player. 

 Fact is actually stranger than fiction as this concoction actually exists!

Saw the stream and it was fun. Random details that stuck out to me;
 
From the stream they showed some world tour mode:
-Canary Crate gang are trying to rise up; they're a new gang and have shabby boxes compared to the nicer Mad Gear ones
Possible that Mad Gear revival rose up from this and once successful left stragglers to rot? Or they're just copycats?
 
-Bosch picking several fights with Canary Crate gang, looking for info on Mad Gear (17.58)
 
-According to one Canary Crate member,  Mad Gear now tied to a huge organization
 
- The team Did a TON of stuff with mocap, even Blanka's rolling attacks. They used wirework
 
-Tried an oil painting style, but devs thought it looked too close to SF5 so went with current SF6 style
 
-Junkyard Smallz mentions the prez aka Abigail, ran off somewhere & the surge of Mad Gear goons 4:24
 
-When designing Kimberly, they went through a lot of concepts, at one point thought of cyberninja
 
-During the unboxing did a close up of the Lilith sticker and put focus on it. (Here's hoping for DS in the future hah)

According to Nakayama, Chun Li's partner Tsujimoto is inpired on one of the soldiers in Van Damme's movie, played by kenzo Tsujimoto.
