@Vhozite‘s post about SFV Chun almost makes me want to play it again. I really did love labbing and playing her, even though I struggled with that MK SBK combo.
 
The netcode still pisses me off though. Flack0 and I had great games (but he lives in Toronto as well IIRC)  but the netcode was acting up against Darc. Then I played Tubb who I play with almost every week in some game or another without ever having issues and the game completely shit itself. 
 
If I had a decent PC, I’d definitely keep playing it, but it seems to run terribly on a PS4.

SF5 is still free on PSN for the next few hours...
 
 ...and then tomorrow Vampyr takes its place, and I finally have a reason to download a Plus game for the first time in over a year.

I feel Chun-Li is the most well designed character in SFV. Not the strongest, but a good representation of what a character should be. Karin is another one.
 
VTs that are good without being overbearing. Good but not degenerate EX moves. Simple SFV combos but also hard versions that reward you with better damage/oki if you practice, but they aren’t mandatory to play her competently. 
 
She is good, but I never fight or use her and think something she does is unfair.

As someone who both had to catch up with 3k+ threads and had to review 10k ones, I definitely have to admit pages are better. 

Well the thing was that with pages, you could sort of leisurely keep track of convos and stuff. Then it was easy to link to the start of a conversation by linking to said page.
 
Scrolling made it really weird to look for info. New pages were also hype AF when things were going quickly. When some shi- goes down and there's new pages...😂 👌
 

Pages feels less convenient for just general posting but it feels so much better when you’re going back looking for something. 
 
Much easier for me to go “I think that was on page 9 or 10” than it is to figure out m what post number it was out of several hundred on a single “page”.
 
I prefer pages

Its so weird having pages again. Not complaining about it; but after all the time in discourse it feels like we just went through a software change again.

So the rapper that was on the 3rd Strike OST was a rapper from Toronto called Infinite. Tbh, he’s not my favourite MC from Toronto (that title goes to Saukrates) but I’ll likely post a few Canadian tracks partially because i’m biased but I also think some of this stuff is pretty good.
 
Infinite isn’t the best lyricist (he was a better producer anyway) but i liked these tracks from him:

This is dope as all hell. Like if SRK had used Vanilla for this, we'd be doing full Wayne's World "We're not worthy" chants.

If you're not using it as a derogatory slur and you're not offending anybody then I'll let it slide.

Its kinda weird. The insane bullshit over at SRK was sort of keeping a lot bottled up. But I had to steel myself to deal with all the chemo trips and other things involving my mom. I've sorted of started cracking after getting banned by d3v. Not because the ban affected me per say, but because once I didn't have trifle nonsense to deal with, my brain went into processing the big loss.
 
So Its tough right now. My daughter notices that I'm just not at full dad mode. Mind you that I was doing home schooling with her and keeping her on a very set schedule...then everything with my mom went down on her last few weeks and its been a lot of turmoil after a month of stability.
 
But hey, SRK is now down with an admin who will protect gnarly ass bullshit and apologize to the people saying fucked up shit in PMs he read and did nothing about. Even more so, he'll apologize to the person who said the bullshit in public.

Either way, Imma be chillin in here if y'all don't mind. I know left the discord. like I told misterBee, rather communicate in honest to god forums than in chit chatty chatrooms and all that jazz. 😂
