Nice! Yeah, I actually just bought my first pack of strings in like 4 years lol. Restringing my 4 string to the lower four strings of a 5 string bass (BEAD) and going to get into learning some metal stuff.

am even debating composing some prog-rock/classic metal type of instrumental tracks to start making some of my own stuff.

I like almost all kinds of music, but I really have a lot of fun blasting this shit at loud volumes.

Actually, on the Myth, Loki is a god that predates Odin, since he is not even part of the aesir tribe (the gods).

Loki, in Norse mythology, a cunning trickster who had the ability to change his shape and sex. Although his father was the giant Fárbauti, he was included among the Aesir (a tribe of gods). Loki was represented as the companion of the great gods Odin and Thor, helping them with his clever plans but sometimes causing embarrassment and difficulty for them and himself. He also appeared as the enemy of the gods, entering their banquet uninvited and demanding their drink. He was the principal cause of the death of the god Balder. Loki was bound to a rock (by the entrails of one or more of his sons, according to some sources) as punishment, thus in many ways resembling the Greek figures Prometheus and Tantalus. Also like Prometheus, Loki is considered a god of fire.

With the female giant Angerboda (Angrboda: “Distress Bringer”), Loki produced the progeny Hel, the goddess of death; Jörmungand, the serpent that surrounds the world; and Fenrir (Fenrisúlfr), the wolf. Loki is also credited with giving birth to Sleipnir, Odin’s eight-legged horse.

Notable diferences from what marvel has told, he is not son of Odin and Frigg, he is not evil, he is the father of Hel and Fenrir (the villain of the 3rd Thor movie, and the Dog at the end of the 3rd Thor movie.)

I would say that GoD at least with their reinterpretation have managed to stay a little more truth to his myth, even when changing his origin by making his father, his mom and the son of a greek demi god 🤣

    Edit

And i am a dumbass, you were talking of Baldurr and not Loki (i just woke up and i am under medication, would you belive me if i said that, lol)

Also, if y'all want a chuckle, read about how Baldr actually died in the myths. It's hilarious, and tragic, but mostly hilarious

KingTubb got a reaction from Pair of Rooks in Melty Blood: Please play it
Played a little bit this morning and it feels like HYPER Undernight to me.

But one thing that's been messing with me is the implementation of autocombos. It does the thing I like where you utilize it inside of a more complex combo, but the thing that I keep getting hung up on is that it will automatically take you to the air if you autocombo after a launcher.

Which turns into a problem because muscle memory has me jump canceling. If I jump cancel after the auto combo jump, my double jump jc gets eaten more or less and the combo falls apart.

It's not a huge deal, but I don't get why they did that really... It sorta makes it easier to continue a combo in the air, but I haven't played any other fighting games that will do that for you.

Yeah, super metroid is a bop.

And honestly, you can finish it in like 8 hours, so it's not the huge commitment that Hollow Knight is.

The guacamelee games are short and fun too.

Edit: @Mattatsuyou could totally play through Super Metroid in the next week before Dread. And if you have Switch Online, you already own it
