I think I've expressed my feelings on Souls-like games (e.g., Sekiro) in the thread. One of the games in my backlog was the Nioh Collection (PS5). I grabbed it off of FB marketplace brand new a few months back for $15. In my infinite wisdom, I randomly decided to install that. I didn't find the game too difficult until I hit the first legit boss following the prologue. Died a good 10 times. I put the controller down, turned the PS5 off and walked away for about 30 min. Then my brain hit me with "You only quit because it's the first boss and he made you his bitch 🤣".

Every time I died it was legitimately my fault. Sat back on the couch, tapped the PS5 button, and decided to re-engage. Even though this is action-combat, it's different. When I beat him, all of it was because every "death"  taught me something. Managing your stamina and learning how to properly defend attacks are critical. I have to rewire my thoughts to seeing death as another item in the toolkit. It may have finally clicked and will be a glutton for punishment the next couple weeks.

get all the skill points associated with ki pulse and make yourself learn how to ki pulse everytime you do anything. game is mad fun once you get it down.

I find the Obi-Wan show very weird. I don’t feel this is a spoiler but I find it odd that no one realizes who Kenobi is. He, Anakin and Mace were basically THE generals of the clone wars. There were Telenet or whatever reporters constantly covering and televising their feats during the war.

how do people not realize he’s who he is?

True but if I was next to a US general in line at the store I wouldn't know who it was. And if there are space drugs and alien hookers I'm probably not paying much attention to the news.

Alot of ppl didn't seem to like Dr Strange MoM (interesting acronym considering the movie lol), but it's in my top 10 marvel movies. Even with its flaws and clichés, I found it fun and quite action packed. Also, found alot of villains from this phase to be lackluster, thankfully this movie didn't suffer from that at all

Anyway, Where yall ranking it so far?

Its up there for me. I love the old Evil Dead movies so I liked the call backs and

    Spoiler

    Zombie strange was fucking sick

  4. Frame and subframe are in really good condition rustwise. Lucked out on that front. I started with the suspension and have replaced almost every piece of it. Coilovers/bushings/bearings/tie rods/control arms all done. Then went to the wheels. Bigger wheels (16' vs 14' stock), good tires, bigger rotors. Still have the old calipers on there for now, but want to change them moving forward. Next was radiator, water pump, and replaced as many hoses as I could without taking the engine out. 90% of the hoses were hard as a rock and starting to get real close to just turning to dust. Current project is move the intercooler, new turbo, injectors and fuel pump. MAF sensor was on its way out, but thats no issue with the new sensors/ecu. The window trim is bad on a couple windows and it really bothers me but I've had trouble finding OEM trim. Its my daily, but I work from home and have another vehicle to use when this one is down. I'd def be able to track it when I'm done, but just wanted a really unique car for the street.

  5. Not yet. Since I got it I was slowly getting it back into good shape. Once we got there we started these big upgrades. We'll see once its ready. I'm in vegas so I do have some options to track it.

edit: gotta keep in mind its an almost 30 year old car. Had to replace nearly every piece of the suspension before I could even really drive it. I've been able to find the parts, but it hasn't been easy.  Its been a lot of work on the car, but we're almost there. First it was driveable, then I got it restored to near stock, then we did the fun stuff. Almost there.

ah yes... and so on this night, my adventures in Bloodborne would finally begin.  I've just made my "violent past" character and run around in the first area, killing the first few weak enemies.  I'm already in love with how this world looks, and the general tone going on here.  I look forward to to being all in on this one.

Elden ring is super good, but I liked bloodborne better. Enjoy the ride.

What area did you miss? It's pretty easy to do considering how much there is.

The volcano manor stuff outside of the npc stacked area. Didn't listen to patches on how to get there.  Saw a video where there's albunaurics in cages hanging everywhere and I have no clue where that is.

Tried to explore as much as I could but 100% I'm missing some caves etc.
