got my shipping notification earlier for my Game and Watch. It'll be here in the morning. Also, had a issue with my Gamefly delivery earlier in the week. It was delivered I want to say 2-3 days ago, went and picked it up out of our locked mailbox here in the community; and I swear on Mario the box was opened and someone fucking jacked my copy of Streets of Rage. Was absolutely fucking livid over it, but Gamefly was quick to resolve. Can't say that about the postal service though ... that is the second theft we've had since I moved back last year after the VA gig. The first was my Satisfye grip from last year, now this. I'm very close to start having all of my packages delivered to a PO Box again.

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt for the time being. Once the new M1 Macbooks start arriving and reviews start hitting, we'll see our earlier discussion come to light more than likely. Fortnite can still eat my whole ass, fuck that game.

Sorry for taking so long with this. Been busy as fuck with work. So the good news: Stadia Controller does come up as a XInput controller (and is viewable/testable in joy.cpl). All buttons and everything work fine. Working along that theory, it could probably be used on PC (and Steam/everywhere else) without connecting to Google's servers. Keep in mind, you would probably have to do the initial firmware update for the controller, but that would be all that's needed. Edit: DPad doesn't work in joy.cpl, analog sticks do.

I'm kinda curious as to how the M1 chip will perform in actual games, if it does at all. One site I looked at was saying something in line with high-end GPUs, but I'll wait for YT videos to prove either/both of us wrong.

picked up all of the Destiny soundtracks from the Bungie store earlier. It was around $55 for all of the music up to and including the newest expansion, Beyond Light. The file downloads were nice and beefy too, offering MP3, FLAC, and Apple Lossless in each. I can put the mp3s up for download somewhere if anyone's interested, just let me know.

Picked up some new(er) upgrades so I can give my wife her PC parts back. What's really gonna suck is going from this R5 3600 back down to my R7 2700X until I can snag either a Ryzen 3k series or one of the new 5k CPUs. Picked up the following: Coolermaster H500 series ARGB EK 240mm AIO w/ARGB Vardar Fans (wew, this looked really nice on Amazon) Also have picked up Dual 32" Monitors w/VA panels. Was able to try out nVidia Surround with a resolution of 3840x1080 ... at 165hz! To quote The Wire .... SHEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIITTTTTT edit 11/25: Was not able to get my original motherboard like I had planned. Amazon refunded my money this morning on it.

My next gen plan for right now is to play everything on PC, with my Switch for portable travels.

Looks like I need to grab a PSN card this morning, and also put some money in my steam account to pick up the Tekken 7 DLC on Tuesday.

I need to see more of what's included before I consider a day juan on this. ME2 and ME3 had a literal grip of MTX stuff that affected both story and multiplayer modes, if my memory is correct. Bioware burned me really bad as a customer with Anthem, to the point where I'm quite wary of anything put out by them.

Was browsing Gamefly looking at the last games I wanted to get before Christmas ... wanted to see about picking up Witcher 3 and Outer Worlds, but their used prices aren't really what I want to pay. Same with MUA3, I could buy them all brand new from Walmart for $10 more a piece after tax. Wonderful 101 is on sale at Target through tomorrow for I think $25 also ... never really played it, I might check it out on YT or something. also, B2G1 at Target starts Sunday with the obvious exclusions.

Gonna try something new for the new year as long as I have this new client contract. Gonna give myself $100/mo in spending money (mostly for games), with one catch. I'll have to stick within the budget, and if I go over; the overage is deducted from the next month's budget. I'm currently undecided as if I want to keep months where I underspend and be able to roll those over to the next month. I should be able to figure something out.

You listed one great game in Overcooked. Of course, there's the classics like MK8D and Crash Team Racing; then there's Super Mario Party (really, don't play this) and ... Smash.

But turnips though... Edit: I have been looking at the Rune Factory games and considering adding the Switch ones (4 Special and 5 upon release) to the collection. Is there anyone here that plays these games? From what I've read, it's basically Harvest Moon mixed with Agarest War mixed with JRPG elements.

I tried out Hyrule Warriors ... I think I may get it for Christmas with Dragon Quest XI S. It's great for destressing at the end of the day, and much better than playing Tetris 99 to relax.
