Games are better than movies imo because you actually have a hand in what's going on, and some of the stories are far more compelling than what's on the big screen. 
 
Silent Hill 2 and Bloodborne have much much more interesting stories almost any movie I've seen in a long time.

I find it much easier to enjoy gameplay focused stuff these days. Old school RPGs are a massive time sink that just don't have enough payoff per hour as a working adult with other shit going on. If I want to read a book, I'll read an actual book. If I want to watch a movie, I'll watch an actual movie. If I'm going to play a game, I want to spend the bulk of that time in engrossing gameplay.

Finally got AX Cup in F-Zero GX. I've owned this game since a few years after it released, but never played it seriously until a month ago. Unlocked AX Cup by beating all the cups in Master difficulty since Chapter 7 (Very Hard) is pretty damn hard so beating all the cups in Master was easier.
 

 
It'd be cool if it was on the Switch, but at the same time if it isn't at a consistent 60fps then I really wouldn't want to play it. I use Rainbow Phoenix most of the time.

I'm not a computer building enthusiast.  I don't like building a computer.  I don't sit here testing for fps and shit like that.  I'm still playing my games at 1080p 75FPS.  What I like is playing games.  I have the most freedom on PC so Ive gone that route the last decade and a half or so.
 
The fact that they are making digital only versions of consoles shows that they are heading in a different direction.
 
I use to be into consoles cause I could get the gaming experience the PC players got at a fraction of the cost.  That's not the case so much anymore.

Yeah, really the only advantage to that method is not having to have beefy hardware needed for demanding modern games- but I can certainly imagine many scenarios where that would be preferable (ie  low income areas that still have a good internet infrastructure).

I don't know if I'd say better, but I had a great time with it. Way more challenging for sure. Absolutely worth buying, especially at that price.

The anime discord fighter scene is going strong atm.
 
Many of the players in the anime discords are new, aren't very good, and are in it for their waifus.  They have 0 interest in playing most other mainstream fighting games.  Waifu laifu gonna save the FGC.
 
The weebs are going to inherit the (FGC) Earth.  🌎

I still need to find the new area in the main Bloodstained game. I forgot about it as Classic Mode has gotten all my attention. 

After seeing it recommended on steam 4247 times, I finally bought Salt and Sanctuary- I'm about 10 hours in and really liking it. Pretty much a straight 2d Dark Souls, and not in the usual overused sense of the term, they straight aped damn near everything about it. 

That movie was good if you were 11, if you are in your late 30s its fucking awful.
It's the kind of movie you watch when there nothing else good on TV and you have no internet 

I am expecting teh new Mortal Kombat to be even worst
