I still say nuke what is left and don't look back. It wasn't the site that kept me there for 16 years, it was the peeps that gave it life. 

When I came here in 2018 to lurk, I definitely did not see this place getting big. Especially since it was called SRK2 at the time. 
 
2 years later, I’m glad I was wrong and it’s my new home. 

Honestly, I didn't make an account early on because I just wanted to focus on my side of stuff and let you guys develop your own.  I wasn't sure if I'd want to do another forum thing again a few years back. Even months back I basically wanted to sandblast my SRK account (to the point where I tested how the delete post and other functions worked).
 
Now its...a little bit different. There's just a lot about this online community thing that has caught me by surprise in the last year. Not sure if I've processed all of it yet.  Its been a largely positive thing that I can't quite put into words yet.
 
All I can say though, is that I find myself very glad that you guys did keep this place up and running. It's incredibly nice being able to find another digital home right after such a disaster.

Me and the wife are watching some Amityville 2 on AMC now and realize how 70s and 80s horrors are the best. 
 
They are super gritty. Great camera work. Excellent sound effects and music, the sharp sounds for jump scares. And how everything revolves around religion and how these fools think they can pray the demons away. 

I'm sad about what happened at srk1,but at the same time I'm glad for the influx of dudes from og SRK to here.
