Its kinda weird. The insane bullshit over at SRK was sort of keeping a lot bottled up. But I had to steel myself to deal with all the chemo trips and other things involving my mom. I've sorted of started cracking after getting banned by d3v. Not because the ban affected me per say, but because once I didn't have trifle nonsense to deal with, my brain went into processing the big loss.
 
So Its tough right now. My daughter notices that I'm just not at full dad mode. Mind you that I was doing home schooling with her and keeping her on a very set schedule...then everything with my mom went down on her last few weeks and its been a lot of turmoil after a month of stability.
 
But hey, SRK is now down with an admin who will protect gnarly ass bullshit and apologize to the people saying fucked up shit in PMs he read and did nothing about. Even more so, he'll apologize to the person who said the bullshit in public.

Either way, Imma be chillin in here if y'all don't mind. I know left the discord. like I told misterBee, rather communicate in honest to god forums than in chit chatty chatrooms and all that jazz. 😂

Big reason I'd want to try PC is to play with mouse and keyboard.  It's been years since I've played anything like that- probably not since Quake II 😂

It depends I guess. I would 100% grab it on PC if I could, despite having it on PS4. The hot keys and stuff is great, and while the game is still amazingly playable on a controller (with the right button layout and settings), I’d personally love to experience it without the hindrance of the weapon wheel, or quick-swapping between more than two guns. Then again, this is one of my favourite games ever, honestly, so that’s me. If i didn’t love it this much, I probably wouldn't bother.
 
Also, on PC, you can run things like the Horde mod by Proteh which looks amazing.

Word.  Might try it if I can find it on sale.  Probably won't pay full price for it twice, lol.

Besides, it's so convenient to have mp3s on hand that I don't even bother checking those streaming services.

Shit man, you should be able to run any modern game well with those specs.

Oh wow is this pertho?  I am really sorry to hear that brother.     I hope the rest of the family is holding up and pulling together.    We are living in some tough times and they require us to be stronger for the generation that is going to inherit this mess.   Having one less beacon of light that I am sure your mother was to guide them is a tragedy to all and the world has become a dimmer place because of it.

Yep, some nut took a thread conversations to PM. Messaged me at random while I was at my mom's house. Told him I didnt want to talk about his bullshit because my daughter had just broken her arm and my mom had cancer (was just browsing SRK to chill).
 
 
Then he sent me a fucked up PM comparing my mom's cancer to SRK. Its all on the lounge. Dude sent me non-apology after she died blaming me for misinterpreting that PM.
 
Then some other stuff and BAM, back to having pages.

Edit: I got hbomax for Lovecraft country and ended up being more impressed by west world.

y'know, there's something about that particular thing that never sits right with me... when they go back and change something, like the scene with Han Solo....or lately Darryl Hannah in Splash (*I hear they digitally lengthened her hair so it covered up her butt!).  Whatever the original form of the show or movie is....it should stay that way.  Things should only change if there's a "remake" with "creative liberties" happening later in the future, imo.
