Even if we don’t have character subsections at the very least I’d like a dedicated place (or places) to talk about or post tech.
 
It’s really annoying scrounging the internet for some bum fuck discord or going having to scroll through 1000 shitposts to find one good gameplay related post in a general discussion. 

I have zero faith in Capcom working on anything not SF5 S5 or SF6. SF5 worked out financially due to its long tail but MH/RE are what keep Capcom's lights on now so all actual resources are going to go to those teams. At this point I'd assume they are just trying to shore things up so that SF5's final season plugs along, and that SF6 come out in a better state than SF5 did.
 
I'd absolutely love to be wrong, and I'd love to be even more wrong and see the impossible dream of a good, new Vs game come out. But I feel like Capcom is going into FG maintenance mode for the foreseeable future. 
 
Also @FlyingVe: got KI set up yesterday. Mercifully easy to get up and running, especially once I realized the hitbox had a PC switch. And so far as I can tell I have everything. I have absolutely lost whatever muscle memory I had with this game, though my time with SF5 did help me hit manuals more easily. 🙂

I will tell you from my limited experience that doesn't change a ton at least into Gold. Still a lot of gimmicky folks just different gimmicks. That's FGs though. At least at the lower levels you can rely on them being suboptimal and hilariously predictable.  I actually miss the Bronze Kens.
 
What you have described is the eternal SFV cycle. Online kinda sucks, game is maybe kinda bad......but its SF so there are forever going to be people online playing it and when it feels good, it feels *good*.
 
One of the reasons I feel like the mediocre netcode is so painful. Its like a relationship with a toxic person but with awesome sex sometimes. Real easy to fall back into texting them on a Friday night. "Yeah I know its a mistake but sometimes you just gotta stick your dick in bad netcode alright!?"
 
Re: FGC personalities - Just like any other group of people, some of them are tools. With social engagement being more of a factor, esp this year when tournaments haven't really been a thing, that shit is just going to come out.

OG Justice is a total fuckhead.
 
My first run through original GG single player was with Pot. Christ that was miserable. I feel like that run took me like 4 hours. I don't think I ever played it after that.

Yeah for fairly obvious reasons the female models in SFV are pretty detailed that way and there is not a dainty flower among them.

What Juri proved in SFV is that we need fewer actual yoga practitioners and more people in yoga pants. 
 
First costume pack should be that for the whole cast. Like SF5's track suits but way sexier for everyone. Smuggled plums and moose knuckles everywhere.
