That old style reminded me---there was this gorgeous girl at university I remember that looked like a time-traveler pulled her right out of the 1920s.... a young starlet "bird" as they'd call her back in those days.  If you shot a film in black & white and had everything looking like a noir thriller from that time she would not look out of place.  ...that shit is HOT, imo... would be great if that became a "new" styled look for women again.  Sheeeittt, time for a ranking system then...

Hottest looks for women by era, generally speaking:
1920s- "Flapper"...there's some overlap with the '30s as well.
1950s-another high rank with me; I also wouldn't mind this coming back into style.  Basically I'm thinking of what you see in a lot of the movies focusing on younger high school characters, maybe there's a diner hang-out spot involved or a beach party (though some of that was going into the 60s era with actors like Annette Funicello)
1980s - this may be some bias I'll admit, since this is *my* era and I have such positive memories of it in general.  This is very close to being a tie with 2nd place 1950s for me.  The exception was that 1 unfortunate trend of women wearing big goofy shoulder pads. (usually in the context of an office job)

The 70s was hit or miss---some of those fashions were just ugly and silly-looking.

So what you are saying is that if your woman is giving problems and you think she might take half your shit in the divorce, along with kids. Take her on a trip to the Middle East. Let her get out of pocket and come back home without her? 🤔

ah, if only an ARPG had this kind of potential depth going on... this sounds insanely awesome to me:

If someone could just make an rpg that has action-oriented combat like a Diablo or better yet Lost Ark (so far, nothing in D4 that I've seen tops the stuff I saw in Lost Ark, but of course Diablo is still up there as one of the better examples for how arpg combat should look, imo)....but also this kind of depth with the story apparently being significantly different (I have my doubts it's actually THAT many endings for real but if what was said here is even somewhat true this is unprecedented) depending on the player's choices and actions.....such a game would absolutely be my favorite rpg of all time by a longshot.

...this gets to one of the main reasons I prefer games to any other form of entertainment, really....that possibility that things can play out differently according to what the player chose to do.  Movies, shows, books, comics, etc. cannot give you that unless you count those old "choose your own path" stories a long time ago, but those didn't seem to catch on in a big way if I recall....normal shows/movies/etc. are still very linear things.  Gaming is the main thing that gives us this situation where it can be drastically different each time you play, depending on your actions.

    100x Faster Than Wi-Fi: Li-Fi, Light-Based Networking, Standard Released     https://www.tomshardware.com/news/li-fi-standard-released

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers has added 802.11bb as a standard for light-based wireless communications. The formalization of 802.11bb will help speed up the rollout and adoption of the light-based transmission technology standard. Li-Fi delivers faster, more reliable, and more secure wireless communications compared to conventional technologies. Now that the standard has been released, it is hoped that the issue of interoperability between Li-Fi and Wi-Fi can be fully addressed.

Out here in Qatar. I've seen American women here on base go out into Doha. And met some U.K women. They've been just fine and enjoyed their time here.

The thing that is make or break for most western women in general in the middle east. Is conflict resolution and compliance. Especially when dealing with a man.

If a woman's first instinct is to rebel when instructed to do something like cover up at a government building or historical sight by a local. Or during a dispute get aggressive, get in a man's face. And try to shout, curse and assert dominance? That's sh1t is gonna go left for her.

I can only speak on Qatar. Qatar is a very nice country. Where you are safe to walk the streets anytime of day or night. And it is more lenient than some other Islamic countries. But it is a patriarchal society. In which the man has the final say and is to not be disrespected without consequences.

A USA woman going alone to a Muslim centric area is a foolish errand.
Even Dubai with its "Wealthy/party" vibe isnt exempt.

People don't know how good they have it here in MURRICA especially women.
