Anything that was previously in animated or comic/manga form being adapted at this point is almost guaranteed to be either barely passable but disappointing...or pure trash, since all hope of accuracy went out the window a while ago, and too many people that call the shots in Hollywood have certain agendas to push any chance they get.  
 
Viewtiful Joe, by Netflix---> Joe gets hurt in the first episode and loses his V-watch... so obviously it's up to the vastly superior Silvia to step up and save everyone with ease.  Silvia also realizes she never actually loved Joe in "that way", as she's coming to terms with the fact that she might be a lesbian.  Captain Blue at the end tells Joe to just stay home because we got a real hero now with Silvia, who is 200x better than any hero of Movieland in the past.
 
Ninja Gaiden - Ryu gets crippled in the first 3 minutes so it's up to Irene Lew to save him and defeat Jacquio.  Irene is played by Lupita N'yongo.  The movie is over in 20 minutes though because she's that damn good.  Ryu is a chump in comparison.
Donkey Kong - Mario is the one that was taken hostage by Kong, so now it's up to Pauline to save him... Lizzo stars as Pauline.  Mario is played by Andre Johnson (Magic Johnson's son), obviously.

So I had to look it up... thinking surely there has to be certain limitations on what people can name their child; for years I kept thinking---surely you can't just get away with naming your son something like "Penis" or "Muthafucka Goddamn", things like that....... and yep:

I think I've unleashed the baking equivalent of the crack epidemic in my house. Thanks to my stand mixer, I now have enough dough for 8 pizzas on standby. I bitched out of buying this thing so many times, but now I'm wondering what the hell took me so long.
 
Sidenote: whoever started calling Matt Gaetz "Rapey McForehead" was given that straight from God/The Universe/Whatever. I literally can't imagine a better nickname when I look at that dude. It's so silly, yet so on the nose.

I went back to Costco and got the stand mixer. Don't remember how I talked myself back into it, but it's been mixed. I made 3 cups of brown sugar (white sugar + molasses) with the beater as a test to get my bearings with it. I turned out some great sugar.
 
But I made a pizza dough with the hook next, and that was mixed. I may have messed things up a bit, but the dough ball I made took so long to come together I would have definitely been better off doing it by hand. I still don't know if it's good either. At least I didn't have to be there for it. Maybe I'm still doing something wrong. We'll see. But I'm in the stand mixer gang now, I guess. I'm giving it a month or so before I decide if I want to return it.

Earlier, I went into Costco and there it was: a KitchenAid 6qt stand mixer for $320, down $80. I had the money, and put it in my cart. I found out then it was heavy. This spiraled into a thing where ended up fighting with myself on if I should buy it while walking around in costco for a whole HOUR. I don't bake enough, I'm not going to pull that heavy shit out every time to make the simple stuff I make, I want to lose weight and nothing it makes is going to help with that, and many more. In the end, my down-talk won out and I put it back. It's strange. I've spent that kind of money with next to no shame on concerts and shit that I can't re-use ever again. But a gadget I might not use that much (but will definitely get used more than once)? My mind flips out.
 
I forgot one part of this story. The stand mixer was the reason I went to Costco in the first place. I decided earlier on I was going to get one because of the sale. THEN all that mental shit happened. I wish I could understand myself.
