Side note:  MJ was actually supposedly in talks to buy Marvel back in the 90's which I didn't know and just decided to google on a whim, the conspiracy part of this is the assumption that Disney slandered MJ to prevent the deal from going down.  I don't know where his basis on that is coming from.

 

Dr. Umar is a clown and another shining example of "Andrew Tate-ism" where you say a bunch of dumb shit but dummies will still dig through for a couple nuggets. He's not as bad as Tate, but I will NEVER understand why people listen to him.

I don't have my fingers on the pulse of anything, but it's plain crazy to think Amber Heard had anything to do with this movie flopping. It's just that subpar product won't make it now.

It's sad that this is where my mind has been thinking about Jonathan Majors, but: I think he's a bigger bag fumbler than Gina Carano. She's finally been beaten. At least in the halls of Disney.

Gina Carano - even if she didn't fuck things up - was likely never going to headline a Disney Star Wars show, with how much they've been announcing shit and cutting it later. Plus, she's still going to be alright, as she's in a casino money family.

Majors had what was likely an 8 figure deal to be the marquee villain of the MCU for a stretch, and threw it away doing dumb shit. Yeah, they didn't set Kang up right, but there was still time and the money still spends. Now this dude has to settle for being King of Tubi IF he has a career at all. He can get roles a few years into the future, I think, but they'll NEVER be on the Marvel/Disney level.

He's said some other stuff including saying he thinks the team should have put their experiences into a different game other than God of War.  I'm going to respectfully disagree...Saying Kratos is soft is a weird take to have especially if you've atleast been through the first fight with Balder/Stranger.  I feel like that was really the whole main purpose of that fight cause at first the game was pretty melancholic and slow and it lulls you.  "Is this really Kratos?  Man he really got a handle on himself"  and then WHAM...UPPERCUTED TO WHOLE DIF ZIPCODE.  "Oh wait no this is God of War".  I'd say Kratos is more nuanced in the 2 recent games...soft isn't it.

I mean, I wasn't actually crying, but that's the closest I've gotten from a videogame in a while. Note that I don't play many games though.

I get that we don't know what hell they went through to make this game on this old engine, but if that video is any indication, their design is still crazy outdated and people are going to call a spade a spade. There are games doing stuff better than them on just about every front now.

I'm still mad over Adina Jewel's implants from back in the day. Whoever did them would get 1000 stabs if I could get to him.

But yeah, Morgpie's implants look terrible.

This year, I turned as old as my mom was when she had me. That fact popped out of nowhere to really fuck with me on my birthday (my salary at my current age is probably what hers was at that time), but I got over it. But yeah, these "milestones" can creep up on you.

Sad it had to go down like this, but there were plenty of good memories.

I watched the video (not linking), and it's even sadder (funnier for me, sadder for most people) than what the above implies. Tyrone's girl (of many years) always wanted to go to Disneyland. With him specifically. He's saying he can't support Disney because it's woke now (he doesn't say woke, but says enough for you to read between the lines), so he's not taking her. Maybe she can go with a friend. I'm speculating, but maybe it'll be on his dime. By the way, she's right beside him in the video. She doesn't seem that sad about it at least.

This nigga is in his mid-forties, and is not taking his multi-year girlfriend to Disneyland because Disney is woke now. This, despite him being easily able to afford it through YouTube bucks. Something's wrong with me, because I should be sad at this shit, but I can't stop laughing.

It's debatable how much the legal drama and fighting for a "who cares" reputation is hurting him, but it's not helping by any means. His biggest source of income is from a chain of restaurants either he or his family owns, and I doubt this is helping things.  It's not like Billy is out there promoting the restaurants when dealing with legal matters. And it's not like people want to try the restaurants just because they're attached to him.

This is a long watch, and you don't need to watch it. But I did. I know nothing of queer community (much less its writers), but I am IN AWE of just how much this James Somerton dude stole from them. I was watching this while doing other things, but at certain points, I could only just LAUGH. You would swear Somerton never had an original thought in his life. If you put a plagiarist like this in the first draft of a fictional story, people would tell you to tone it down.

This is kinda scary. This dude was able to plagiarize brazenly for years and years with ALL the evidence out in the open, and he's just now facing any real backlash. I wonder how many other YouTube plagiarists are just out there skating by because people don't check stuff that deep.
