Ah, so that's why I felt a disturbance in the Force. 

I'm a super hardcore/experienced Ace Combat fan, but Squadrons is kicking my ass.
 
Game takes place in space, so you can turn in any direction and come to a full stop.  It's not quite Descent levels of movement, but it's kinda close.  A lot of my Ace Combat muscle memory is useless and setting the controls to mimic normal flight sims wasn't ideal.  Dodging missiles in this game is pretty difficult and the AI is pretty mean on hard difficulty.  I'm using default controls on an Xbox controller atm.
 
Definitely takes some getting used to, and seems to be a good balance between the complicated X-Wing games and the arcade-like Rogue Squadron games.
 
I'll probably end up sticking with Ace Combat in the end but I'm having a good time with it.

I see it as a first person cyberpunk Witcher. I know there are moments where you have to shoot somebody. That's good enough for me.

Yes I have returned. 

y'know, there's something about that particular thing that never sits right with me... when they go back and change something, like the scene with Han Solo....or lately Darryl Hannah in Splash (*I hear they digitally lengthened her hair so it covered up her butt!).  Whatever the original form of the show or movie is....it should stay that way.  Things should only change if there's a "remake" with "creative liberties" happening later in the future, imo.

To be honest, i’m glad so many people i like are switching over. When this forum was created, it seemed a lot of people were reluctant to leave SRK (myself included), but now i dont feel that way, and that seems true for a few of us

I have full control.  The forum isn't being hosted through a service -- I am running it myself on my own virtual server.
 
The theme has been heavily customized and there's a major software/theme update coming this week.  Gotta make sure the new theme works nicely with the new software version.
 
I don't have any problem with you guys running events -- I might even add a calendar module to the site to keep track of them. Keeping track of who can/can't update it might get messy though, so we'll see.
 
Someone has already asked me for custom badges for tournament winners.  I'll look into it later.  Got too much on my plate atm with this unexpected influx of new people.

Cyberpunk is the only FPS on my radar at the moment. I'll pick up Doom Eternal when it goes on sale. 

I only get my absolute favorite stuff physical. Still need to get a physical release of Star Wars. 
 
I wish I didn’t miss the golden age of everything being on Netflix. Trying to get into streaming services because pirating media besides music is tedious. But fuck it seems like everything I want to see is on a separate platform, and I refuse to sub to more than two of these damn services.

I always want physical stuff, but the clutter of it and the effort involved is too much work for my lazy ass.
 
Like last week I was gonna reinstall SFV, then I remembered I had the physical disc, and I I was all like "fuck it"
 
Then frames reminded me that it was the PS+ game last month, so I redownloaded cause I didn't have to track down the disc lol 

Yeah i have a lot of stuff on DVD. Mostly stuff like Gundam or G1 Transformers
