due to BOTWs design its the easiest game to come back to and pick up and play no matter the length of time between play sessions. Youre never hard locked into anything and everywhere can be returned to so you just fire it up and...do whatever the fuck you want. Its fantastic.

There's just a lot of dumb shit involved with this that if the Melee people took the time to take themselves out of the equation and look at it objectively that they'd see that Ninty was well within their rights to do what they did...ANY COMPANY IN THAT POSITION WOULD BE.  I get Ninty ain't helping them with not having to take the fatback CRTs every where...I get that.  But they still own the IP period.  There's no 'morally' wrong thing on them at all.  They own it, end of discussion.  If Sega was to suddenly be like 'aight...no more sonic fan games moving forward starting from now.  In fact we're getting what's out there scrubbed off of the internet.'  then that sucks but the sonic community is gonna have to hold that shit.  No game company is going to be generally ok with an event that they're sponsoring where there's modded/copied/emulated version a game.   And then on top of this the IP holder is like 'hey...we're sponsoring this so we'd appreciate it if you didn't do this' and they go 'hey go fuck yourself', just what in the actual?!  I mean Smashers should already know how Ninty rolls with stuff like this so the fact that they even bothered to give them a courtesy of trying fix it before pulling the plug should show that they actually gave a damn before they caught the spit in the face.  I mean after all the shit that happened in the smash community this year you'd think that they'd be trying to repair the relationship with the IP holder but this reeks of entitlement that they have NO ROOM at all for right now. /end final 2 cents

Supposedly from what I've read on the situation, Nintendo even asked the TO's to not play Melee with the emulation and all that jazz and they refused.  Sooooo...yeah.  If I was Nintendo I'd pull the plug too.  It's my IP.  If I ask you to not do something nicely and you're going to ignore then I'm gonna back out.

I don't know why I feel like I have been subconsciously passing over this game despite the high praises I've been seeing.  This music has inspired me to take a closer look into it.  I'm probably gonna end up buying it.

Played a bunch of AoC last night with the wife and Urbosa....mmmmmm... Yeah this is my main right now.  I don't even care that her super puts the game into to single frame digits whenever we're in the same area.  EVERYTHING DIES!!!

I love the smash games.  It's the only game right now with so many big name franchises clashing together in one game.  I'm just full blown sour at the community with most of it being pin pointed directly at the Melee sect.  The melee sect of the fandom has been showing their ass and only been getting worse since Brawl has been a thing (and in some aspects considering the aspects of brawl I could get some of it) but fucking sense of entitlement and the horse being as fucking high as it is makes me want to take a chainsaw to the horses knees.

Alright, River City girls is sick as hell. 
 
Started off kind of weak for me. The move list felt super limiting and mashing on the first few dudes didn't feel too great. Then I unlocked my first move and instantly understood what this is... 
 
Game just keeps getting better and better the more I play. I kind of need a show just about these two girls because they are endless comedy gold. The whole game has a lot of charm and a great sense of humor, really. 
 
I mean Kyoko can straight up dab you to death.

I really love the simple arcade style brilliance of SOR4, but man, this game brings something really cool to the table with the more unique aspects like learning new moves and moving about an open map. 
 
I'm gonna have to try the multiplayer at some point because the tag team goodness in this game seems way too hype.

I'm really surprised by this OST. Lots of Synth/Darksynth stuff that I didn't expect at all. Has a ton of range even though it mostly stays within Electronica. 👍

If they want to have unsponsored online melee tournies that they may or may not be able to stream (gonna bet on not)  then they can still have em.  Just don't let Ninty know you're doing it.
