Near where I grew up in, Washington there is a city called Yelm that is the home of what is called the Ramtha  School of Enlightenment. It’s some cult that believes some woman is able to channel some old scholar from 35,000 years ago. Iirc the scholar was once apart of some high order in Atlantis. 
 
Apparently, one of their biggest fear is lizard people taking over the earth like the Skrulls. Cause when I was about maybe 16 or 17 a friend and I were randomly walking around Yelm and we ended up at the gates of the “school” and there were two armed guards there. My friend knew it was the Ramtha cult but I had no idea as I didn’t go to Yelm often. 
 
When we asked why they needed to be packing so hard one of the guards looked my friend and dead in the eyes and dead ass said “To protect the children from the Lizard People” 

We replied “oh, cool.” while trying not to laugh our asses off. My friend had to later explain to me what the Ramtha cult was

The head of the school JZ Knight claims that if you follow the teachings told to her by Ramtha and walk the path of light or some dumb shit you will unlock your inner abilities. Things like ESP, Pyrokenesis, Healing factor, etc. 

The main thing I want to manifest is better health and it seems to be happening. I can feel my body regenerating at a quick pace. Health is wealth and happiness. A healthy body is a powerful body.

I learned this writing technical guidance for States on behalf of USDOT. Simple declarative sentences were always the go to. You aren't able to "flower" the language based on the style guide. You pretty much have to write at an 8th grade level. 

I got ya. I have the same problem. More words don't always mean clearer point. Happens a lot when I talk about something I'm passionate about.

So I’m kinda late to the “pick up a new hobby during quarantine” party but since the middle of October, which is when I became unemployed I started baking hella. 
 
I started with simple stuff like those peanut butter, sugar and white macadamia nut cookies I posted over at REDACTED. But I’ve been making other stuff too. 
 
I’m humble bragging a bit but everything I’ve made has turned out fantastic. Which makes me feel hella good. It also helps that it’s kinda fun as I’m enjoying the science of it all since I don’t really bake and most of what I can cook is Asian. 
 
I want to make more stuff too like bread, pies, cakes, strudel, donuts/fritters, and so on. (I’m aware some of those are baked pastries but I still wanna try) But I really wanted to get the basics down first. 
 
im actually hanging out with a friend on Wednesday and the whole point of the day is decompress from Election Day by baking shit and playing drunk Mario kart. 
 
the best thing about all this baking I’ve been doing, it’s all my dad, who is still recovering from his throat cancer therapies can eat with little to no issues. He usually just needs a glass of milk or glass of water. 
 
Which is fucking great and makes me extremely happy cause one of the biggest issues he’s had during his recovery is bread and other heavy flour content items have been very difficult for him to eat and swallow. So him being able to eat these have made him more confident to try other things. 
 
pictured down below is what I’ve made in the last week: banana walnut bread, pineapple upside down muffins and finally a Nutella a cream cheese marble pound cake.

I believe it's possible to gain powers. It just takes time and patience.  We actually have the power of our Subconscious Mind to manifest abilities or anything. You have to be pretty positive and detached to do that.

heh, sheeittttt, you know I can't resist this topic of superpower choices... I was watching a live-stream on youtube just now and they threw out the question of which Infinity Gem you'd pick if you were limited to just 1....then they opened the topic to "what if it was 2...?"
 
Top choice for me is easily going to be Time, Reality or Mind, though I lean towards Time as the #1 pick.  It allows you to exist simultaneously throughout time.  All those things from the past I'd like to see in person...I could be there and watch it happen, like a real life "Uatu the Watcher"....starting with whatever crashed in Roswell....then watching the construction of the Great Pyramids, or the first humans (all hominid variants, actually; it would also be interesting to see what happened when the ones that co-existed first discovered each other... I'm betting things probably got violent or they were at least leery of each other; e.g.--neanderthals and sapiens and the rest.), etc. etc.  Also, some small-time shenanigans to generally cheat the game of life...of course I'd tell my past self some winning lottery numbers, or information about upcoming inventions that will hit big, so I can invent them before the "correct" person does.
 
A good 2-stone combo would be Time + Power or Mind.
