It seems it ranges from solid to ok for the actual show, but the 2009 turtles Forever TV movie has a lot of ghosting/blurring in it and is not the uncut version.
 

I don't have the problems with the show that others have but this shit pissed me off. Lois literally tells Clark in an earlier episode "I'm going find out Superman's secrets and expose them." It's the big story she's been chasing. More over, she almost got Clark and Jimmy fired on their first day by lying to them both. And most importantly, they haven't even known each other that long. They aren't even dating. So he's supposed to tell his co-worker that he's known for a few weeks his deepest darkest secret? Fuck out here with that nonsense. Damn and I thought Mary Jane was crazy....

The theme song seems slightly off, but otherwise I couldn't see any significant differences.
 
 

It's a bacteria, and pretty easy to cure with modern medicine as long as you don't wait too long to see a doctor.
 
And it normally takes months of close contact with someone who has untreated leprosy to catch it, which makes it supremely goofy that they can't pin down who in FL is giving it to people.

It's an hour away, so 60. I work mostly remote now, and confirmed that this was OK a couple times. If I didn't, I wouldn't have even been thinking of moving in.

I would strongly advise going to an accountant/tax preparer and talking to them about this if you haven't already. I had a tax guy that somehow finagled a year that I would have owed back taxes plus a sizeable penalty into me owing nothing and getting a $30 refund. Even if you just call someone and talk to them. It could end up saving you a ton, and the IRS banks on most people not knowing all the tricks and loopholes.

This is NOT in an area with crazy land value. We're talking hood-adjacent while still being relatively safe. Only moved in because if I tried to get a house today I'd be paying it off until I'm in my 70s (if I can even maintain a good income that long). This is the only place I have a right to own outright (it was my moms).

Yeah, but the equity and appreciation go a long, long way to making you feel better about it down the road.
 
We just moved, and we sold our old place for $100k more than we bought it for 6 years ago.

Welp... moved in to my house finally.
-IRS tax returns on my mom's back taxes came back and the penalties are doubling the amounts. I have to call the IRS (yay) to see if I can get those taken off. I'm looking at around 12K without penalties, and the penalties shoot things closer to 20K.
-There are leaks downstairs I have to see about.
-A/C is no replacement for central air, I'm too spoiled I guess. So central air will have to come in at some point. I am almost a vampire in the rooms without A/C.
-A number of big ticket appliances (like the furnace and the washer) are noisy and may have to be replaced.
 
I hope it gets better, but so far this is feeling like the dumbest financial move I've made. Once I consider the new bills replacing old bills, It's not like I'm saving that much on rent. It would take multiple years of rent I'm not paying to make back the costs of moving in.

I haven't been to Munich,but some people from college mentioned the BMW Museum and a well known beer hall known as Hofbrauhas which dates back to the 16th century.
 
You could take a train to Paris. It takes around 6 hrs each way  and costs roughly 120 euros if you have the time /budget.

So some less serious news. I'm gonna be in Munich, Germany on the 1st. 30 day vacation. Before this job. I never saw myself getting a passport and stepping outside the U.S. And now im about to experience my 2nd country.
 
I'm gonna get a Eurorail pass. And try to visit a few nearby countries. Anyone here been to Europe or live in the continent? If so what places or activities ya recommend? Anything I should know?

There really can't be enough good things said about the story crafting in the presentation of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime.  A number of the story arcs are told out of chronological order, and the nested prequel arcs make you realize that very minor details of what you've already seen were actually call-backs to important stuff you're watching now.

This thread is getting too serious.

Well, it was a shart, to be clear. I took my car to the dealership for service this morning and they had free burritos made to order. I got a chorizo egg burrito, and my stomach isn't used to that shit after a couple weeks of dieting. My wife and I just got out of Oppenheimer. During the Trinity scene, that burrito came back to haunt me. There was damn near a second nuclear explosion in that theater.
