my dream is still that it plays out like a sci-fi tv show or movie, and the vaccines are how humans move to the next significant stage of evolution... like an X-gene, or of course, my dream--- more supernatural, magical shit like vampirism, witchcraft and lycanthropy. (Vamp/Witchcraft hybrid creature is the dream top-tier shit, folks.)  Imagine if which one you took determined which kind of powers you got too...or what type of supernatural being you become.  With the X-gene/metahuman route, I'd be happy with Flash-level speed and reaction, super durability and/or regeneration, and psychic abilities.  Those who didn't get the shots (before this glitch in the system got "fixed") would be insanely jealous that they missed out on getting superhuman powers....and are now stuck being an inferior class of human.
 
Of course, reality is always more depressing and lame in comparison to fiction we've come up with (perhaps because God Himself has always been the ultimate "Debbie Downer" muthafucka, assuming he exists), so naturally there's next to zero chance of those dreams of a 100x more awesome/interesting world ever coming true.

Most taxi drivers in nyc feel the same. Do you know how hard it was for me to get a can during the middle of the night? Almost impossible. The majority of taxi drivers do not stop for black people during the night because of how many times they experienced getting robbed or just dealing with some shithead feeling he needs to show he has that thug life bullshit.
 
I recall one driver expressing how he prefers other ethnicities because they some how have the common sense that there isn't much to mug off a cab driver, the blacks he encountered would rob even if the driver just had 25$ in his wallet because they just need to feel that gangsta cred.  This driver was black btw, even black drivers dont stop for blacks.

Yup. Big boba fan here.. sadly, i cant get boba with my demographic  because for some odd reason they all consider it a white and asian drink.

So i get looked at in a weird way as if i am uncle tom or something if i suggest to go out to OneZo (which is an S++ tier boba spot in NYC) over sitting in park benches, smoking weed while listening to fake digital made music with someone talking about drugs, banging ugly hoes and breaking the law over it (modern day rap music) with hood rat fat girls who are as educated as a 2nd grader swarming the joint.  
 
Boba drinks have widen my friend demographic and its one of the ways i managed to get friends of different backgrounds who actually know something of value rather than just how and where 2pac got shot.

I finally had to look up the lyrics to The Hogan Family intro theme....for all these years, I thought they were saying "We've got Rosa...as happy as can be!" when they show Mrs. Poole, which didn't make sense because that is not her name....of course that was incorrect:

There is also a song by 3 Doors Down if I recall....called "If I could Be Like That", and I swear that must've been on purpose that it sounds exactly like they're singing "Fuck me Like That!"  I first heard it on the radio while driving around one day... and it was such a Twilight Zone moment for me...for the longest time I was in disbelief like ---"dude, NO WAY they're getting away with saying this on regular radio.... what the hell, man?!"  I kept listening closer and closer but it sounds exactly like "Fuck me like that!" on the chorus part each time.

Really? I always thought those things where low tier gummies, not very flavorful, and always get wedged deep in your teeth. Probably the same kids that drank tang and shit.

Western Comics are actually doing the best numbers they’ve ever done post comic crash of the 90’s. Both Marvel and DC have some of the best writers in the history of the business right now. Hell, even indy titles. A lot of Indy titles out sell Marvel and DC on a month to month basis as well. 
 
the issue with Marvel and DC rely way too much on old hat tropes and legacy characters. They’re too afraid to step out of the box and create new genuinely new characters and to retire legacy characters. 
 
It’s why the old saying among comics readers is “no matter how much everything changes the conclusion is always everything goes back to the way it was”. Which is ironic, cause all comic readers bitch about is wanting exciting and new until they’re actually given it then they just bitch about it. 
 
That isn’t me trying to discredit manga as a medium, btw. I get why manga sells in such high numbers. I just wish they were actually good manga’s. It’s all shonen trash like demon slayer or my hero 
 
 

I mean, I don’t particularly care. It’s a non-canon story and a young adult novel. 🤷🏼‍♂️ 

the only thing I know is she pens a lot of the most popular comics in DC right now 
 

The sad thing is that she can actually write, since she has done some previous stories that are good, and her current Detective Comics run is good according to people i know (have not read it yet to see if is true or not)
So dunno if this self insert is born only from her own desire, or something that comes from circumstances that lead to it
