Invision Community.  Upgraded to the latest version last night!  Had a hell of a time this week rebuilding the theme for the new version though...
 
We haven't been on Vanilla since the early SRK2 days.  Vanilla Community version (the kind you can actually install yourself) lags behind their cloud hosted version (the kind you gotta pay to have them host for you) by quite a lot.  They definitely keep the good stuff for themselves as a way to entice you to host your forum through them.  There were a lot of bugs and issues getting things to run on my server after every new patch/version.
 
Invision has been much more stable though it requires an ongoing license fee.  They also have excellent customer support.

Also, I’m meh about the pack. I was hoping for custom variations or some major shakeups the community has been asking for. Maybe we’ll learn more, but I feel like they could have mentioned something in the text in the last screens. The characters are cool but likely won’t get me to buy it. I also like Mileena a lot, but I’m luke warm on her release because of her fans, throwing rude demands at NRS staff.
 
im also curious as to if Kitana is going be re-worked because of Mileena’s stance/highborn variation. Plus her sai for gear. Seems like Kitana is almost a half a character now if they don’t adjust her accordingly

Yeah impression i always had was Dan was slightly older than Ryu/Ken. 
 
He looks really good in V. Glad they didnt give him some shitty redesign. Alt costumes will be fun for sure.

Feels weird to be here after SRK for so long...but at the same time the only reason I was at SRK for so long was the great people in the story thread so I guess this place also feels just like home. Oh also the street background is 100000000x better

Just busting your chops. I know what I said may have felt vague, like a strange cry for help, rabble rousing and/or all sorts of different erratic behaviors. It was just interesting seeing how people took in the info.
 
There was a post made earlier where I defend myself against some of the claims in SRK. It was never my intention to get people to quit it. 
 
But now that Preppy outed himself and out the whole convo out, I hope it makes some sense why I made the decisions I did. That dude is out of his mind and d3v enabled him something fierce.

This site looks far and away nicer than SRK currently does. Shit, I haven't been logged in here since around the time the site was created. Back when SRK was announced to shut down in 2018. In all honesty, migrating to this site just feels like a natural move for anyone that still uses SRK. The people that own and run SRK obviously don't care about it. I've lost count of how many times over the years that the community has been given false promises as far as improving the site. Many people have always been vocal about what would make the place better and it has always fallen on deaf ears.  Even after agreeing to keep the forums going and making changes, the Cannons never followed through. I'll probably continue lurking SRK with the occasional posts every now and then as always. But as far as Mega Shock is concerned, I say bring on the blackjack and hookers!!

Imma just go around erasing post at random so some of ya'll stay at level 1 👀
