THE NOKIA OF JUSTICE!!!  That was my first phone and it was great, I do miss when phones were good at making phone calls and weren't glorified tablets.  I still miss my blackberry pearl 2003, as that phone lasted 12 years and refused to die.  I only had to replace it because everyone switched to Iphone I couldn't see most text messages.

Denuvo-related performance issues would hurt the Switch's rep, which is already not good on that front. That could be a reason for Nintendo to intervene and block that bloatware themselves.

Well of course you don't, like Darksakul you didn't read the article. Nintendo has nothing to do with this, it's a 3rd party project for 3rd party developers. Nintendo isn't involved at all. 

I've never pirated a Switch game, but I'll probably start if I can find a version that doesn't have Denuvo on PC. I don't want bloat ware on my console games that I pay for.

Supposedly Ragnarok is the last Sony exclusive that will be cross plat so things will start drying up starting next year.  This year is probably not a bad time to scoop to future prepare.    I don't confidently have the extra funds otherwise I probably would have jumped on it.

It was the lamest diss trackk to. "Your music don't get radio play in my car" or whatever, while 50% of the song is Em beats and flows. Couldn't tell if he was dissing Em or suckin his dick.

We're probably on the cusp of reaching the threshold where it's not worth it for the scalpers to grab the consoles because the people who are left aren't that desperate to get one which will be great.  Once that's busted they'll be way easier to get overall.

Shit, are they not scarce anymore? I saw this, went over there, and snapped one up. Then I went to the comments on that post and people are implying they aren't that hard to get nowadays. I thought they were.

I'm surprised Capcom has not made a Breath of Fire collection yet.

I don't know what the hell Nintendo is thinking allowing this evil to exist, but the performance loss by itself is a dealbreaker. The Switch is already severely underpowered as is.
 
Don't forget, this is a portable console too. Going on a road trip? No internet on the road? Get fucked. No lube, no spit.
 
Denuvo is abysmal. As someone with an underpowered PC, I'm well aware of how atrocious it is.

Current Head of Sony, who recently announced in several regions the PS5 is getting a price hike due to the costs and chip shortage issues.

I don't know, but I also don't want to be in a position to find out when it does go wrong.
There already been badly made games in the past that would brick a PS4 or a Xbox One. 
With the PS4, Anthem will cause the console to reboot, sometimes to the Main Menu sometimes to a error screen and you had to rebuild their PS4's disk database.

Issues include
 1. Requires an online connection
 2. Denuvo Anti-Tamper functions in a way that might impact performance
In some instances the anti-tamper protection checks were confirmed to be a part of performance critical functions and had a noticeable impact on gameplay performance on some systems, as in Tekken 7
 3. Causes excessive HDD/SSD reads/writes which degrades the lifespan of storage drives
 4. Server outages will prevent renewals of the offline token for new and some returning players, thereby preventing play until the outage has been solved

I take the silence from Nintendo as complicity in this manner. 
Also Irdeto at some point had to get a dev kit from Nindy. Nindy are selective who they sell dev kits too.
Sure Irdeto could use one of the many 3rd party tools without paying for a Nintendo Switch Dev kit, but that can and will but them into legal trouble with Nintendo. 

Denuvo is already awful on the PC gaming scene, it often not just break games but breaks PCs. At least with the PC, a User can fix the issues. End users can't just fix their console like you can a PC. 
Denuvo on a console is only punishing legit Consumers, the hackers, modders and Pirates are just going to bypass the Denuvo garbage like always.

Amazon should focus on publishing and save development for later. They published Lost Arc in the states and that's been good for them.

From my understanding a lot of peoples main issues with denuvo is how companies implement it as more than just a security check. There’s been dozens of instances where companies get caught using denuvo to fish for and sell user data.
