2020 Has been a truly shit year. But this here is a much needed light at the end of a very dark tunnel. Trump losing Georgia said it all. People on both sides were done. Enough was enough. Only his cult like base was riding for him. Get that celebrity in chief, troll attempt that went way too damn far, black mark on our nation and its history the fuck outta here!
 
I dont know if Biden will do better. But I'm certain he won't do worse. I'll take a mediocre president over the shit show that was Trump. Good riddance

After I saw the third season of The Wire (the Hamsterdam season) I was like, "We need to try that shit. It'd probably work." I think it's time to admit that the war on drugs has been about as successful as the war on terror.

My birthday was earlier this week. My wife let me know she got it on Sunday and just arrived. We were supposed to go to Disney for our anniversary but COVID had other plans. The Galaxy's Edge Legacy Vader lightsaber.

The new one certainly feels better, but the older one has a louder speaker and is more responsive. When I tried to see how to make the speaker "better" I went down a rabbit hole. It's surprisingly simple if you've messed around with small electronics. Sometime later in the year I plan to upgrade the older one, build my own saber, and modify the new unit (in that order). I already drew up some plans to customize the case that the new saber came in. 
 
 
 
 

Apparently one of the artists from 90's era Capcom did a pretty lengthy interview giving out cool tidbits and stuff , he mainly worked on marvel games. And someone has been translating it if anybody wants to check it out.
 
 
 

So I’m finally getting around to playing Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle (yeah I know) and it’s actually hella fun. It really is babies first XCOM but that’s in no way a bad thing. 
 
The battle system is really simplistic but as you go into each battle map you have to be more and more creative with the tools you’re given. 
You aren’t given many new abilities as you progress either. Mario gets a melee attack, Luigi gets a remote mine. Things like that. They all have cool downs too. But as far as I can tell from the skill trees you’re really just making the few abilities you do get and the standard ones stronger whether it be by damage or secondary effects. Which I think is a really good idea. It keeps with the layered simplicity the game is trying to go for.

The humor is also really great too. Ubisoft imo figured out the perfect balance between annoying rabbids and Nintendo charm. 
 
this is only first impressions as I’m not even finished with the first world. But I’ve been playing for about 6-7 hours, so I think I feel ok given this kind of short review/initial impression

They ported Red Dead Redemption 2  on the Switch. 
 

Fuck PVP, especially Bloodborns.
