Previously on X-men...
 
  Way back in Uncanny X-men 200, the son of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor was born. 
After being kidnapped during the buildup to Inferno, Madelyne went insane after Sinister revealed that she was a clone of Jean with her job/memories all fabricated to get close to Scott. Sinister wanted an uber mutant to ultimately defeat Apocalypse. 
After Maddy dies (for a while) in Inferno, Scott is raising him along with Jean.
 
However, Apocalypse kidnaps Nathan and infects him with a techno-organic virus. A mysterious woman from the future named Askani offers to take baby Nate to the future to cure him. Wracked with guilt, Scott lets her take Nate to the future.
 


 
Part 2....
 
Before this story, in real world publication, a mysterious old man with cybernetics is seen chasing after the terrorist organization known as the Mutant Liberation Front!
While this character is new to readers, it is actually the infant son of Scott Summers all grown up. His oppostie numer and doppelganger STRYFE is actually his clone. (lol). He eventually teams wih the New Mutants to get them and later molds them into the paramilitary squad known as  X-FORCE!
 
 
 

The closest I ever got to crying from video game was Lost Odyssey on 360. The main character  Kaim and his wife Sarah are  immortal. I won't get super deep into the story but the immortals have lost most of their memories. They both have sad memories of their daughter dying due to the antagonist. During the game, the end up finding out she's alive. When they reach her she's dying from disease the antagonist infects her with. She dies with her parents and children at her side. Shit was fucking sad man. Gongora, the antagonist, was a bitch.

Because Spiderverse was more Marvel than anything. Sony just kinda sat there and made money. Same with all the MCU Spidey films. I don’t know why the Sony-verse stuff like Venom, Morbius and likely Kraven and this are such trash. 
 

Ezekiel is a dumb character made by J. Michael Straczynski and is one of the reasons I stopped giving a shit about Peter Parker Spider-Man cause his run introduced Morlun, the Spider-Totems, The Web of Life and Destiny along with all the other dumb shit that made Spider-Man stop feeling special and “neighborhoodly”. The run and the continuation of it by Dan Slott destroyed the entire point of spider-man.

Yeah for developers they do. They can use them to help get their projects approved. Nakayama, the SF6 producer, basically put his neck on the line for SF6. The "three games in one" Traditional FG/Battle Hub/World Tour format was his idea. The fact that the SF6 on FG of the year, over Mortal Kombat, at an event that typically favors Western developed games for awards is a big deal.
 
As much as I dislike the TGAs, they are basically the Oscars for Video Games. The Big 3 (Nintendo, Sony, MS) are on it's advisory board. They get major announcements. The Series X/S was announced there. All the big developers show up their in person. Eiji Aonuma, lead developer for Zelda, was there. Hell ,the head of Capcom was there. They wouldn't fly all the way from Japan for something they consider worthless. 
 
Since we ware stuck with them, I just hope they do better. The situation with people having 30 seconds for their acceptance speech was a joke. Hell it was disgusting in the case of Baldur's Gate 3. The head of the studio is talking about their cinematic animation lead, Jim Southworth, that died and they start flashing the wrap it up sign and playing the music to tell him to GTFO. Aonuma is speaking through a translator and only had 30 seconds. Meanwhile Anthony Mackie and Simon Liu are drawling on endlessly. Then their were multiple awards, like Fighting Game of the Year, that Geoff just reeled of in rapid succession with the winner having no chance to give a speech at all. Nayakama was at the event, didn't even get the damned 30 seconds. 

Spiderman 2 is the Horizon of 2023. Horizon games always release in loaded years where they, despite their overall quality, are not good enough to be the game of the year. 2023 was one of the most loaded years of high quality games in sometime. Someone was going to get left out. That said, Hogwarts Legacy getting 0 nominations was straight up BS that had nothing to do with the quality of the game itself. Especially with GOTY 2008 nominee (not a typo) Starfield getting a nomination.
