This dudes a fucking clown. He clearly grew up where there wasn’t an active scene.
I mean, yeah, that's his point. That's probably the arcade expirience for most dudes that wanted to play fighting games back then. I mean shit man I've lived all over the country as a kid and went to every arcade I could find, and you were lucky to even see a cab with a game you actually played, let alone having good competition in the same room.
Arcades are not an ideal learning environment for fighting games anymore. I find it insane that even needs to be said to some of these people. I think we all agree that Arcades had a very specific charm to them, but it is certainly romanticized now by boomers, and that's really his whole point.

I didn't hear him say otherwise..... In fact he literally said those players built the foundation for the entire FGC.

He does tho. It's how he starts the video. Just because you respect someone doesn't mean they're free of criticism. Dudes like Valle have been making cringe boomer logic tweets for awhile now. I mean dude literally thinks we don't have strong players nowadays because of the lack of an arcade environment. Which is just such a ridiculous thing to say when you see all the strong players in new games that have popped up even in just the last 10 years.

I'm not really sure how to approach this bit because that's not really part of the discussion at all. In fact Valle regularly hosts and promotes SFV stuff so I might just need some elaboration on why you're bringing this up.

No. Civ is turn based.
Might actually look into it sometime then

If you ever play any of the Civilization games on PC, let me know so we can find you a support group. 🤣
Civ is an RTS tho, right?
Divinity is very much turn based and I thank God for it because there's already so many complexities about the combat that make my head spin, and that's with all the time in the world to make decisions.
Civ would probably have me like this in the first 5 minutes bro

Just popping in to say I've been up since 11 PM last night playing Divinity: Original Sin 2 and I cannot stop even now at 8 in the morning. I think I might have been a closet DND fan all this time. At least to some extent.
I cannot even begin to express the level of depth and complexity this game has without even having left the "tutorial" area, so to speak.

Oh, I would surprised, they weren't actually lewds, just pics of a very attractive Vampire lady cosplay. I can still see them when I load the page too, that's strange

Oh we’re those lewds you posted? All I saw was blank squares and clicking gave me nothing.
😧
I'll try reposting em' later

Damn I had more big tiddy vampire lewds but I can see taste is wasted on the heathens here 😤

You're not. If you had your contacts maybe you could see that.
Yeah, I'm not sure why I ever took this cunt off ignore. The transition from SRK got me fucked up if I'm over here thinking he'd actually be less of an asshole just because the URL changed. 🤣

Welp, I learned The Dio Combo ™ today..... I can't believe I'd never touched this game before yesterday. Capcom really has a laundry list of amazing shit nobody played.
Such a unique and excellent game. It has a clear appreciation for the source material

Instead of egg whites I use a thin layer of mayo. Locks in all the juices.
Oh wow, never heard of that either. I bet that's tasty. 😩
I really wanna get an air fryer and try it out for stuff like that. Breaded chicken is just so easy and so good. Can really make it however you want and it's probably gonna be delicious.
Air fryer seems sublime for re-heating certain leftovers too. I just can't stand re-heated pizza since my High School days, but man I had a buddy make me some in his fryer and that shit tasted amazing.
Cast iron skillet would probably still remain my best kitchen purchase yet, tho. 😎

I miss Soul Sacrifice too. Was just talking about it with a friend the other day actually. You can't even really emulate it either without it being a pain in the ass since the Vita had all those touch screen controls and shit.
Game definitely deserves a sequel, or at the very least a port to consoles with full online. Don't even have to Remake the graphics... Just give me the same exact game in high definition and I'll eat that shit up day 1.

The chemistry between all those characters is a big reason the game works. They act like real friends instead of RPG characters.
I had a great time just existing in that universe. The opening number sets such a charming tone for the whole game, and the entire world does a fantastic job of prodding your curiosity and daring you to lose yourself exploring it. The dungeons, the towns, the open roads and the grassy fields... The tranquil lakes, the hidden bosses, even something as simple as the shift from day to night changes the world in big ways. I loved exploring every nook and cranny in that game.
One of the few titles I've ever platinumed. It's really one of those games I wish I could forget about just to go through for the first time again, despite the various issues it had.
