Yeah I beat all the other arch stones already. Final bosses for each one. I'm actually pretty OP right now 😆
What level are you, out of curiosity?
And what stats and weapons did you end up leaning towards?
I just did a tried and true sword and shield character for my first run, with a hint of magic so I could buff my weapons for free. Finished the game at about level 62 I think.

You want to talk about animation incompetence. Why does M. Bison wipe his head with no hat!
Seriously. This specific detail has bugged me for fucking YEARS.

After the Penetrator boss. Where the blue dragon comes and fucks your shit up on top of the castle. So that's not the final level?
Oh, no it is. I just thought you might have been reffering to the area before it, lol.
So you did all the other areas already? Or did you go to 1-4 early?

You know, I'd love to, man. But I'm on daddy duty while my wife works today. And I'm only planning on being online for about an hour tonight for RL, then I have to crash early. Gotta get up at 5 am to go hunting tomorrow.
My days of playing videogames during the day are pretty much over. But maybe an evening next week we can try it? I wouldn't mind the help on the last level lol.
Sure!
Are you talking about 1-4? Boleterian Castle? Right after the Tower Knight. Or are you at the last last area in that world?

I'm with you, but maybe that's the point?
I've been suggesting this for years. At a certain point I think you have to consider that the animation style is intentional. It resembles the classic games in a very faithful manner, warts and all.
Unpopular opinion probably but: I actually like most of the animations in MK because they harken back to the old games, and in turn, they feel like the old games.
It seems strange to me to attribute the animation style purely to incompetence when you can look at the character intros, cutscenes and fatalities to see they clearly understand how to make more traditional/realistic looking animations. 🤷🏾♂️

This was why I stopped playing monster Hunter world despite playing like a fiend for 2 weeks. The game is really easy. When I got to the elder gods and beat them on my first try with almost no trouble i uninstalled.
Yeah, you didn't even play the real game yet dude lmao
The first few elder Dragons you fight are kind of whatever. The real game starts on Master/G rank.

Sony does nothing to stop bots, so those directs are fucking worthless.
What they should do is randomly put them up for purchase so scalpers have less prep time. Probably wouldn't make a huge difference but, it would be something.

@M A R T I A Nhave you experienced any drifting with your controller?
Nope. I even have 2 now and no issues with either.
I thought my triggers were already fucked at first when I was spamming arrows in Demon's Souls, but I forgot adaptive triggers simulate things like guns jamming by making the triggers more resistant. 🤣

I see you @M A R T I A Nthrowing a coffee emoji on my PS5 search post.
It's been like 3 days and homie already forgot the struggle. Shame on you, you big doo doo head. Shame on you.
I think you misunderstand. If I hit the coffee emoji on a post, it means I'm doing the forum equivalent of this with you:

This is a case of poor optimization.
Oh no doubt. Even still I'm just surprised you can't run it. Pretty sure you've got a 2080 right? If it's unstable on your rig it's certainly not gonna play nice with mine.

You get the remastered version for free on PS5 if you already own the PS4 version, so you can now run the game in 120fps, and load times are pretty much instant.
Yeah, I was fangirling over that on the previous page already.
I really need to look up a list of games that actually have free PS5 patches for them.

I wish it ran phenomenal for me. The performance I get is unstable. I can get above 60FPS most of the time but the frame rate takes a shit when there's a lot going on onscreen. It gets worse whenever I fight in a youkai field as the particle effects puts a heavy stain on performance. When doing the second main mission when I reached the burning storehouse everything went to shit. I was dropping below 30, there was shuttering everything and the whole game just became a slideshow in this area. Quite unplayable. I'll turn down the setting the next time I boot it up but so far things haven;t been smooth.
Damn, and that's on PC? I was considering grabbing it there but maybe I'll hold off if even your rig can't handle it.

I hope Fromsoft patches Bloodborne...i really do. Might fuck with the game too much tho...i dunno
There's really no reason for it to be stuck at 30 frames.... Unless they actually plan to do a re-release of the game at some point, which I do think is highly likely. The fact that every other Souls game jumps to or maintains 60 while Bloodborne remains locked at 30 is certainly... Suspicious, if nothing else.

Any significant improvement?
MK11 has a free PS5 upgrade that adds stuff like Native 4K, performance gains and small graphical improvements.
SFV is pretty much verbatim to the PC version. Faster load times but practically the same game.
Tekken 7 is pretty much the same game as well. You can't double the render resolution like you can on PC unfortunately, so it doesn't look quite as good, but it does have faster load times offline.
So far I have yet to see any real significant upgrades to fighting games, outside of stuff like load times. Which, hey, I'll never complain about getting back into matches faster. 🤷🏾♂️

You can already play 2 and 5FS in Like a Dragon! And both have local multiplayer. So you can have a local experience of both of those games on modern consoles for $60.
I mean, shit, you can get Judgement for $20 and get 5FS there with local multiplayer!
Yeah, it's why I was excited to see the Yakuza collection come to PC honestly lmao. You can play it in 6 as well.
For the time being, nothing really beats being able to emulate it on PC 😔

Honestly, I'm thinking they'll put out a legacy collection with netplay. We're coming up on the 30th anniversary for the series, so why not?
Being able to play 3, Evolution, AND 5 in the same collection? All with netplay?
Way too much value bro. Sega would never do it. Not for $60 lmaooo

The only games that have significant upgrades without developer patches are games with unlocked frames, dynamic resolution, or games that targeted a certain frame rate but couldn't maintain it under stress. This list should be helpful although it's a few months old.
This list was super helpful. I own most of these so I got to try a lot of them.
Days Gone actually looks like a next gen game with the bump to 60FPS. I mean it just looks amazing. I'm actually excited to get farther in that.
Anthem is like.. Literally no different, outside of load times. Which are still total trash and way too long. It's hard capped at 30FPS so it really just looks like blurry garbage still. Not sure why it's even on that list.
Dark Souls 3 does bump up to 60FPS and loads instantaneously. Very nice.
Dead by Daylight runs superb. Also jumps to a stable 60FPS, loads faster definitely has minor graphical detail increases like better anti aliasing and maybe some more texture detail.
Nioh 2 looks great. Instead of choosing between performance mode or graphic mode you pretty much just get both modes at once. Looks and runs phenomenal.
Same deal with Sekiro. Jumps to 60FPS and looks like a brand new game for it.
These are just some of the more notable ones I've tried. I'm really, REALLY excited to try God of War and Ghosts of Sushi on this thing. 👍

Also, I really need this Virtua Fighter Esports thing to be something tangible. If it's a rerelease of VF5FS with a HD coat of paint and better netcode, I'd be happy.
VF is the way I want a 3D fighter to be.. Tekken is cool, but VF is more my speed.
Yeah man, I'm down to play Virtua Fighter literally on a dime. I fuckin love Final Showdown. If you ever wanna play it don't be a stranger.
FS port would be very godlike. I'd love VF6 too, but I feel that's a lot less likely. And honestly, Virtua Fighter 5 is already such a complete and balanced game that it still stands on its own as a product. Give it rollback netcode, revert the graphical style to vanilla VF5, and I will give Sega any amount of money to play that game natively on my PS5/PC.
Playing that game through emulation really gives you an idea of what could be.. 😭

So Werewolf game is actually pretty good? I had a feeling that could either be really generic or really fun. Sounds like they're doing a good job of making the Werewolf feel powerful.
