Worldwide release date for all platforms.

I live in New York and have gigabit fiber.  Both my PC and PS4 use wired ethernet connections.  Despite the fact that many players are nearby and my connection is flawless I had lag problems in SFV on console and PC.  When I lived in Hong Kong I had similar issues, despite having a great connection there also.
 
Other games, even ones without rollback sometimes perform better than SFV does in terms of online play.  The game just doesn't work as well as it should online.

I decided to rewrite the Dual Modding guide as Nerrage's post on SRK TT is hard to read, especially when he gets into the theory of operation.

Yeah, but my point still stands.  There's gonna be JP stuff I want to play and a PS5 is either going to be the only or the best option.  Now I just gotta find room to put that thing...

Yes, but at the end of the day the Switch is still a tablet.
 
There are going to be games that Japanese devs want to make that will need more power than a tablet, and by default they will be on PS5.  Assuming that 100% of import games you want to play are going to be on a mobile platform is really wishful thinking.  Even if every import game comes to Switch AND PS5, the PS5 version will still have the potential to be much better.
 
Persona 5 Scramble is out on PS4 and Switch right now -- and I know which version I'd want to play for sure.  I also highly doubt the next Gundam Extreme VS release is coming to Switch.
 
Just gonna have to open up my wallet...

Here's some stuff I've made over the past year or two:
 

T6 Wireless for 360.  Sanwa silent buttons + custom stick with levered switches/octogate. Xbox button swapped out from a 360 controller. 
 

Another T6 wireless.  Converted to Brook Universal PCB with Neutrik cable plug.  Custom stick with levered switches/octogate, turbo switch for use with shmups.
 

AFS shell, Korean stick modded with Cherry switches.  Buttons are MX Browns.  Brook wireless board with Adafruit 2500mah battery.
 

Battery kill switch to manually turn off the board, custom USB type-A cable port, custom wireless LED/antenna mount.

I was worried at first but Ramlethal looks sick! And the dog coming out in the winpose. I can't wait for this to come out.

Zero 3 Upper has the jump cancel infinites patched out and includes almost all of the console exclusive characters.  It can be played online using NullDC-BEAR.
 
One day when I have time again (sob) I'll make a thread for it and try to get some games going.

Don't worry, I can use you in my attempt to make Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper into a relevant competitive scene.

They've already patched the dead zone issue for squadrons I think.
 
I'm a hardcore Ace Combat fan but I've never played any of them with a stick since those games are more arcade-style.  I should probably play through 7 again with a HOTAS.

I recall both the V3 and the EX2 required you to file off button hole tabs, but it's not a terribly big deal.  It's worth it for that small form factor.  EX2 is great because it's small but it still has a metal bottom plate for extra weight.  For the V3 and Tekken 6 sticks I add rolls of pennies in there for weight.

When it comes to my own reviews, I will not go through and point out what is my own opinions from what is fact (as my prerogative), and I encourage everyone to do your own fact finding research before you make a final conclusion for yourself. That is what google is for, finding your own research and making your own decisions.

Don't ask about sales, promo codes, or deals for any products. As the time of writing, we don't have any known industry insiders on the forum.

Keep in mind I am purposely leaving out many limited edition and/or collectors sticks, as it goes outside the intentions of the guide. Collectors are going to collect.

And I also like to keep custom sticks off the thread entirely, Custom sticks are outside of the scope of this guide and is considered off topic. Want a custom stick, make your own or hire someone to do it for you. I am going to completely ignore All-button "sticks", Keyboard-"sticks", Hitboxes and the like. If you want to review them, then make your own. 

And no this is not a carbon copy of the guide from Tech Talk, as that guide is out of date and I am leaving a lot of old stuff there. 

Last but not least I ask readers to go outside of this thread and do your research. Read reviews here on MEGASHOCK and reviews on online stores and in magazines. Weigh the Pros and Cons before deciding which stick to get. And please don't make new threads on what stick you should buy, read the thread first. Don't see what you are looking for ask.
