  1. I've been going over Akuma's endings in the older games  to get ready for Akuma's release.

It's interesting to see how he started out.

In Alpha 1, after defeating Bison, you see an image of Goutetsu, Gouken, and Bison in the background. It mentions how all of them were helpless against the Satsui n Hado. You get the impression that Akuma was feeling empty because no one was able to match his power. He even talked about how there was no reason to continue existing in the world. The Narrator then says Akuma attained the "Ultimate Dream" and questions if his journey was at its end.

His Alpha 2 ending is much different. He spared Gen and then left to gaze at the full moon. He sees an image of Bison, Gen, and Ryu, then talks about how enemies like them give value to living and mastering the fist. He then questions if his next battle will fill the full moon with his blood or the opponent's.

Always thought it was interesting how Bison was among the 3 he was thinking about for a future battle. Akuma encountered Gen and Ryu in Alpha 2, but the Bison encounter was from Alpha 1. That encounter is very unlikely because the ending pretty much says Bison fell to the Satsui no Hado like Goutetsu and Gouken. Hell, it was Bison's defeat that had Akuma feeling depressed about no one being on his level.

Akuma has been shown to be adept at sensing powerful Ki across the planet. He probably sensed Bison's Psycho Power at some point. That would explain why he had him in mind.

  2. That artstyle looks like a dream come true.

Max commissioned Wistful to develop a new artstyle for MVCI. This is only a few days old and it's already miles ahead of the original. Imagine how good it'll look when it's finished.

Max said on stream that they were going to take their time with this project. Aside from the new artstyle, they're going to change up the stages, the music, mechanics, and many other things as well. Excited.

  3. I have my rank search set to worldwide, so I'm getting all types of people.

I fought a Guile player from Italy. Showed up as a red bar, but felt like I was playing someone right in my city. No stutters or anything. It was hella smooth.

In early SF6, we couldn't even get matched with west coast players. This would often lead to us fighting the same exact people over and over and over again.

I'm so glad they widened the ranked pool.

  4. I fukks with Benny the Butcher's music normally, but I do not need this shyt to be playing when I'm trying to make my return to World Tour Mode.

I thought this was only in the Battle Hub.

I want to chill in Metro City and listen to the relaxing evening theme. I hope they change this because the music in World Tour Mode is some of my fav to listen to.

PS1 Xmen vs Street Fighter frame drops are legendary. The game would really begin to chug when two Juggernauts played.

Now just imagine how my kid self felt when I turned on the PS1 version and realized I couldn't tag out.

That shyt was X-Men Vs Street Fighter: Street Fighter Edition (Rounds)

You could still do Team Hyper Combos but your first character stayed in.

I tried to find so many ways around it before I threw in the towel.
