110% cosign. You can just spaz out on offense in V, super dumb and predictable offense that there is virtually no real counter to. Spaced fireballs used to be SF's signature in terms of pressing on offense safely. Most other predictable moves could be read and countered. 
 
But I guess that's just what the FGC is today, adapt or die. I think I've seen it referred to as dial a fighter. Just mash out those normals in sequence. People seem to really like and support this style though, so who am I to criticize it. Frame data was always useful but the SFV approach makes it pretty much the only thing that matters. It's like studying a really lame textbook, rote memorization and restricted scenarios. No real room for creativity or forcing lots of scramble situations. Which is what I believe the heart of FGs is. I'm 100% certain you can just program an AI for SFV easily.

I hear some buzz about CvS2 and MvC2 on fc2 now, after the campaigns about re-releasing them, but it doesn't really seem like too many people are jumping onto it even free.

If the rest of the world is so smart why can't they just do the conversions? Metric is used for science and tech all the time, and us Americans have no issues with that. I think I've been seeing claims of male contraceptives since way back on SRK, early 2000s. And yet none really ever come to market. But honestly even without a contraceptive, it's actually hard for a woman to get pregnant. Most days are safe days and even the risky days, even if you pump said girl full every day, the odds are still pretty low. People act like one nut is a guaranteed pregnancy but that just really is not true. Especially based on age. It's really rather difficult and a limited time. 

Why would a dude wear a condom and then take it off? It's like everyone just decided it's men that preggo trap women. That's ass backwards. Women are the ones that love going oops pregnant and lying about BC.

As a regular person you have no control over any of it so it's not generally worth worrying about. That's why a lot of people stop voting and stop trying in general. How many times did they ignore public will and vocal campaigns against SOPA and repealing Net Neutrality? Those fuckers just keep shoving it through until eventually they were able to. Meanwhile the rest of the time both parties do this song and dance on how they want to help people but the other side is blocking them, and drag their feet on anything beneficial. That's just how stuff works. 
 
The Panama and Pandora papers just don't even really matter. People don't care. Words don't get things done unless you own the guns pointed at everyone else's heads.

I didn't drink for something like 10 years, then had a few drinks when Punk came back. It was honestly great. A week later I had a few more drinks and it wasn't nearly as good. I'm going to stick with a 10 year timeline from now on.
